Oliwias Shave Ice & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Hartselle

We’ve been going here ever since they opened and it’s been a very fun treat for my kids and my wife and I as well. Tons of flavors so there will be something that piques your interests shaved ice wise. Ice cream, is absolutely phenomenal. They make a Cookie Monster ice cream that has become my go to and they have a variety of other delicious flavors as well. Also make sure you try ice cream with shaved ice, promise you’ll be in for a very pleasant surprise.

Lastly, the service there is always great! They are very kind there and there’s usually a certain girl that my daughters know as the ice cream girl. She’s always sweet to my daughters and it’s appreciated! Can’t recommend this place enough.

This was our first time here and definitely not our last!!! The shop is cute and very inviting. The kids working (a young man & two girls) handled themselves well when a very rude gentleman came in and complained that the young man was not paying attention to him and how loud it was. There were 2 kids and their mom (watching a Disney movie), a couple with their kids, and 4 more older kids that came in right after, plus the shaving machine running. So yes it was a little loud.. really dude!! The young lady that was handling the situation apologized several times. The older gentleman then decided he didn't want anything!! Wow!! This place is absolutely phenomenal!! This is legit shaved ice, not crushed! I highly recommend this place! The staff was so fun and professional!! Shaved ice and ice is a great combination! I had pineapple and guava with vanilla blue bell ice! Speaking of ice cream they have 16 Blue Bell flavors, some of which rotate with new flavors!
