My family and I have been to eat here many times and have never experienced anything bad here. The food is always amazing here. With this being said we arrived to eat at 7:45 we came from out of town so we checked google to see what time they closed and google said 9. We arrived and the first thing said was that we only had 10 minutes to order our food because the cooks were leaving. We found this very odd seeing as it was not even 8 p.m yet. We then ordered our food and the service was terrible. They had already thrown out all the drinks so we were limited to beer and water and were rushed to eat as the staff was turning lights and televisions off. We had not even gotten our food yet when they locked the doors and turned the lights off. When my drink was empty the waitress rolled her eyes as she looked at her coworkers, I don’t know if this was because of the inconvenience of me asking for my drink to be refilled or what but it did not come of with the best customer service. I love to eat here so seeing as how tonight went it was very disappointing. I leave this review in hope that if we were mistaken and the closing time is earlier than google said then some light can be shed on the issue and it can be Corrected. If we were not mistaken on the closing time I hope that this review can shed some light on the staff’s lack of customer service and it can also be corrected. No ill will towards pizza Ed’s I will definitely be back for the food. That Alfredo pizza is...

My fiancée and I came there on a Tuesday for lunch. We sat and waited for the Waitress once she arrived we ordered our drinks and when she came back ordered our food. We both ordered a Buffalo Chicken Hoagie with sweet potato fries. It took over 40 minutes for us to get our food. While we waited we asked our waitress and the self spoken manager that we wanted it to-go. Finally our food comes out and the bread is burnt and all that was on the sandwich was Fried Chicken and Cheese. Such a simple sandwich for 45 minutes wait. The waitress hands us the bill and all they have done to accommodate our time wasted is to take off the $1.96 drinks we had. I asked for the manager and the “manager” who had come over before came to the table and I asked her is that seriously all that they was going to do considering we had some spent over an hour there waiting for food that was now burnt and by the time we got home the sandwiches would be cold. She looks at the bill and just says yep. So, I told her I didn’t even want to take it home if we were going to have to pay for cold and burnt food. Then and only then is when they offer to fully discount it. That was the first and last time we will ever visit Pizza Ed. Horrible experience and management didn’t even act as to though they cared about...

Came in ready to eat some good pizza, we’d been there before and it was great. I was sorely disappointed then when, after we seated ourselves, no one came to our table. After 3-5 minutes of waiting to even see a menu and get a glass of water, we were then left alone for 20+ minutes. Waitresses passed us by several times, including our own, but never asked to take our order. Our waters weren’t even handed to us by our waitress, but by one of her two kids (well under the age of 10) who were both helping to bus tables and deliver drinks to tables. Not sure if they were being compensated for their work and I’m not well read on child labor laws in Alabama, but to have our waitress completely ignore us from the time we walked in the door was unacceptable. After a half hour of waiting for someone to take our order, we got up and left to eat elsewhere where we were waited on and served our food in the time it took Pizza Ed to acknowledge our existence. Highly unlikely we...

I'll start with I am a Giordanos pizza guy. It is my go to when I'm in Chicago. To me, Pizza Ed is a lot like Lou Malnati's. With all that out of the way, The Cubby Chicago Deep Dish Pizza that I got her was surprisingly good. In Hartselle of all places. This was my first time dining here. My dining experience started out a little rough. The hostess dropped the menu at the stand and I got thought that she would take it back. Nope, I carried it to my booth. I ordered my drink of sweet tea and got unsweet tea. I sat there for a while until my waitress brought me another cup and it was sweet tea. I thanked her because the other was unsweet. Back to the pizza. Again, I was surprised. It was great alternative to driving to Chicago. I really recommend and hope that your dining experience doesn't have a bump in the road like mine.

The brick oven pizza was great good sauce and had plenty of flavor nice crispy crust perfectly done.. the employees that i met and talked with were top notch friendly and personable.. i traveled 40 miles one way to get a good pizza like im used to having.. no complaints... had to try their cannoli , its the closest ones i have had to my grandmother's and like the Italian bakeries from days gone by... highly recommend and worth the trip.. i dont give out 5 stars lightly... im dining in next time.. if could give 6 stars they would have earned it ... and i loved the redone brick and the whole look inside

This place is so good! The brick oven pizza is awesome! We have been here several times and they have never disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised today to find out they are open on Sunday. Our first stop for lunch had a twenty five plus minute wait which is tough with three kids that are ready to eat. We looked them up to check and when it showed them online to be open, we called and they said we could get right in. It was great like always. Unique pizza and other options on the menu. Nice restaurant and clean restrooms. I would highly recommend try them out.
