Service and drinks... muffins have always been fantastic. Daughter and I came for a drink and a treat..(Friday 7/28 at 3:30p) muffin was great but the cake pop (which is literally small...we all know cake pops have 2 maybe 3 bites in it) anyhow my daughter takes a bite (1)... and it's very smooshie. It had a play-doh consistency. I told her when she first told me it tasted like it was undercooked to go tell the server but she said no she was smooshing it to show me the consistency. I told her to tell her... she's 15 and I'm trying to get her to learn how to talk to people; she's non confrontational, and she said no. I'll just throw it away. Of course I don't like the fact of buying something and you get 1 bite and then throw it away. She was urged enough to where she went up and waited until the server was available and asked her if she could get something else for this bc she didn't like it that she thought it was undercooked. She said she understood but she took a bite of it and that they don't make them- they order it from some where else and that she couldn't do anything about it but thanked her for telling them about it. So it was $3.25 plus tax for 1 bite of under cooked cake.....pop.
I let my daughter take care of it... as I write this I'm still hearing her tell me how she doesn't understand where she went wrong with it. But!!! just be leary of ordering things in there... regardless if they make it or not you still have to stand behind the product you sell, whether you have it brought in there or you make. I don't know if the girl was just too inexperienced to understand the concept of the customer is always right or management just doesn't care, but I'm showing my daughter that when someone doesn't do right by there business/customers, there's ways of speaking out about it. I know I won't order a cake pop again and now I will definitely be leary of ordering things that...
Read moreCrema Coffee has easily become one of my favorite spots—not just for the coffee, but for the entire experience. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, welcoming smiles and genuinely friendly service. The staff here go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. You never feel rushed, and they always seem happy to answer questions or make great recommendations.
Now let’s talk about the food—absolutely top-notch. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Whether it’s a breakfast sandwich, pastry, or one of their seasonal specials, you can tell they’re putting heart into the menu. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a quick bite or sit down and really enjoy a meal.
But the true standout for me? The S’mores Coffee. It’s hands down one of the best specialty drinks I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced with a rich, chocolatey flavor, just the right hint of toasted marshmallow, and a graham cracker finish that ties it all together. It’s like dessert in a cup—but not overly sweet. Honestly, I’d come back just for that.
If you're in the area, Crema Coffee is 100% worth the stop. Incredible service, great food, and coffee that’ll keep you coming back—especially the s’mores....

Every time my family visits Hartsville, SC, Crema Coffee Bar and Catering is our go-to stop—and it never disappoints! This charming little shop has always been a special treat, but on our most recent visit, we were thrilled to see it’s under new ownership with some exciting changes already taking shape.
The new owner, a vibrant and visionary 21-year-old young woman, has truly brought fresh energy to Crema. The espresso is noticeably better—richer, smoother, and expertly crafted—and she’s adding delicious fresh-baked goods along with exciting new menu items for both drinks and food.
It’s inspiring to see such passion and care poured into a local business. We can’t wait to see how Crema continues to grow, and we’ll definitely keep coming back every time we’re in town....
