Carolina Lunch — Restaurant in Hartsville

I give this place called Carolina Lunch 0 my order wasnt right and i went to acknowledge the worker of the issue she got nasty with me and said "And" i said i didnt want oinions in my order,she got nasty again and said "we can refix it,being nasty and said do you want you want us to remake it?I said with the nasty attutide you have NO!!!!!!!!!!And walked out.If you are running a business,i dont care who you are CUSTOMERS COME FIRST AND ARE ALWAYS RIGHT.WHAT YOU DONT WANT TO DO IS BE NASTY WITH CUSTOMERS ON YOUR OWN MISTAKE YOU GET BAD REVIEWS AND LOSE CUSTOMERS.AND THEN MY BOYFRIEND SALMON HAD BONES IN IT SOME I KNOW THAT THEY ARE NASTY YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO GET THAT BLACK SKIN AND THE BONES OUT OF SALMON BEFORE YOU COOK THEM.THIS PLACE IS NASTY ALL THE WAY ATOUND I WILL BE CALLING USDA FOOD INSPECTOR TO COME AND CHECK THIS PLACE OUT AND SEE IF THEY CAN SHUT...

The good: The food is prepared with soul. Customer service is good. The bad: Some of the older white customers will virtually stare a hole through you when you walk in. It’s almost like the music stops as they stare at African Americans enter. I was alone the three times I went. I was dressed professionally for work but it’s like if stares could talk. Be prepared to see a few overall wearing, tobacco chewing, “good old boys” stop reading their newspapers to gawk at you upon entering. You can tell some of these customers do not want the presence of African Americans in this southern diner. Luckily, it’s not ran the way the presumed bigots...

I first heard of Carolina Lunch through Facebook by some of the locals including Gina. I decided to stop in today, as I've been living in Hartsville for 3yrs and had yet to experience what it has to offer. I ordered grits, eggs, sausage, and toast with a lemonade.
