So looking online it looked like a great little place to try. We ordered the salad bar with our lunch. They were out of iceberg salad so I went up to tell the cashier that took our order that they were out. She said ok I’ll let the girl in the back know. I stood there while she waited on 5 different customers and helped them, then she went to back , after seeing us still waiting for our salads, and cake out and said oh, when she’s done cooking all the orders , she will fill the salad. Really????? I had to wait for them to take care of everyone after my family?????? So then our food was delivered to our table, we are still standing and waiting for salad and the cook delivers food to other customers then cones up to tell us, I’m sorry we have no more lettuce, maybe on tomorrow s truck??????? After I stood there for 15 minutes waiting???????? I have never had such poor service in my life and will NEVER go back! They obviously do not put their customers first, and/or take care of others before the ones that ordered first!!! Needless to say that our lunch was almost cold from waiting on a Sana’a bar that we finally find out, oh we don’t have any??? What kind of service is that????? Not friendly cashier either, when she stood there looking at us , knowing we were waiting on lettuce and all she did was keep assisting other customers before she even went to the back to tell the girl that we needed lettuce. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. We were there around 2-3 pm on Monday July 8, so there’s your...
Read moreOpted into trying this spot on our way back from the Hartville Flea Market. This spot is a classic rendition of every cool weather, pseudo dark day coffee shop vibe without any spice. After twenty plus years in the hospitality industry it pains me to have an experience so subpar that visiting this location again would have to be under very special circumstances. Saturday afternoon- Upon entry: barely greeted. One couple seated in a booth. One table outside. You order at the counter in classic coffee/cafe style fashion. I ordered a cold Chai, Avocado Toast with two eggs and a half portion Margarita Pizza and waffle fries. The drink was great. We sat down on the patio & waited almost twenty minutes. My drink is done… food arrives… Margarita pizza & fries…. NO SAUCE and cold….fries, cold and rubbery. Avocado toast…eggs are cold and absolutely ZERO SEASONING on the toast or eggs. Literally just smashed avocado on dry toast topped with an egg. I don’t know where y’all have been having avocado toast but this isn’t how it’s done & it’s not why it became popular. Try adding at least some salt if not some sunflower seeds & spice…maybe some lime… If this is what post covid life has to offer as society gets back together, you can keep it. I’m sorry for the poor review but we can’t keep accepting subpar experiences as the normal. We’re disappointed that we paid for this experience. 2 stars only for...
Read moreThis little place is so cute. I live in Wadsworth and I just moved here from Medina so I don't get out to hartville ever... like I've never been there before. What a cute little place they have going on here. I actually went for a bridal shower and they did a wonderful job. We got some light refreshments like cheese and crackers and such however the cafe building itself was shut down to customers so it was just the people at the shower that were there. I think the food I'm not really sure but I think like the refreshments were brought in by the family but I pretty sure that desserts because they were absolutely amazing were from the front porch Cafe. If you've never had a macaroon there...you're not really living and we cannot be friends. Very very yummy. They have a wonderful barista there named Ethan. I'm not sure if male baristas are called baristas but I'm just going to go with that. Very sweet young guy. And they served us the brides signature favorite latte and it was wonderful. Just a quaint little place if you're in hartville I would definitely recommend stopping in after the flea market. It did seem like they had shorter hours so I would check the times of you can just to make sure but most definitely... Stop in if you can and get a bite to eat or just a coffee. Super nice people... super good food and...
