Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Hartville

I visited Mi Casa with a group of friends for dinner and was extremely disappointed in their service. We were seated immediately upon entering which was nice and service was prompt with taking drinks orders. After our drink orders were placed, we waited what felt like eternity for our waitress to come back with them. During that wait, we had bussers constantly coming to our table asking if we needed anything and when we asked to place our food order or our drinks, we were told that they couldn't do that and they would tell our waitress. We would see our waitress constantly helping other tables but seemed to be too busy to ever make it to ours in the back of the restaurant. We finally placed our food order and waited another eternity for it to arrive. When it started to arrive, the food would come out in waves instead of all at once. Half of our table was done eating and the other half was still waiting for food to arrive. After everyones food arrived, the meal was good. We didn't take too long to eat and we were ready for the checks, but by this point, no busser or waitress was coming over. When we finally got the attention of one of the bussers, we explained our frustrations to which he replied very defensively stating how they only had 1 waitress on staff and that they're doing the best that they could. If they only had 1 waitress on staff at the time, they should have never sat us in the first place and should have told us a wait time. After everything was said and done, we were in the restaurant for 2 hours and only received poor service the entire time. Wow, our dining experience at Mi Casa was truly exceptional, thanks in large part to our server, Hannah. From the moment we walked in, her warm and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. She took the time to explain the menu, offered great recommendations, and even customized our orders to suit our preferences.

Hannah's attention to detail was impeccable; our drinks were always full, and she anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Her knowledge of the dishes and the ingredients used was impressive, and she made sure every dish arrived at our table piping hot and beautifully presented.

What truly set Hannah apart was her genuine care for our dining experience. She checked in on us regularly, ensuring we were satisfied with each course and offering a smile that brightened our evening. Her passion for providing top-notch service was evident throughout our meal.

We left Mi Casa that evening with full stomachs and big smiles, all thanks to the outstanding service provided by Hannah. She made our visit memorable, and we can't wait to return to Mi Casa for another delightful dining experience.

Staying at the campground from out of town, so trying for the first time and had an experience that would stop me from ever eating here again. Came in at 8:10pm they close at 10:00pm our waitress was nice but the other waitress started deep cleaning carpets and it smelled so strongly of a floral chemical scent that I had to get up and ask her to stop (not only that but it was loud like a vacuum and there were three tables eating). I never, and I mean never complain because I have worked in food service. In addition to the scent that made continuing my meal nearly impossible; the food (steak fajitas) were not good. It was seasoned with something that made it all red I've never experienced this and order this dish at every Mexican restaurant I visit. Lastly, the margarita was not drinkable I sent it back (can never remember a time I have sent a drink back ever) and the waitress said it was her third complaint today about them.
