Horrible Food Poisoning 🤢. Walked in and had a #4 burger meal, but opted to eat the remainder of the burger at home since I was in a rush. Took a few bites of the burger and paused to talk to my dad, as I got distracted from eating while explaining something I felt pain, and discomfort at my left lower rib cage. Right where the stomach is anatomically and then I felt it radiate across my midline about 30 min later. That is Probly when it reached the duodenum. At Arby’s first I tried to drink their high c fruit punch but it was so sugary I poured it out and tried the unsweetened tea but that was bitter. I opted instead to eat the sandwich at home. I had eaten my fries with ketchup, Arby’s sauce that I tried for the first time and some kind of honey mustard sauce I tried for the first time. I drove home with the sandwich 20 min drive. Then I went inside and talked with my dad and took just a few bites of the sandwich. As I was walking around to tell him something and was distracted from finishing 3/4 of the sandwich. I felt pain and saw a slightly pink red spot in the area I have described. Above upper left quadrant of abdomen but below pectoral. I felt bloating pain and discomfort. The bloating looked quite swollen and felt alarming. Like a turning and clamping sensation. I was alarmed and went to lay down. As I lay for a couple hours after maybe an hr or less I felt the painful sensation radiate across my midline to the other side right lower rib cage section where the liver, duodenum, etc are. Now I feel most of the discomfort in my lower areas and feel like a bowel movement is coming as digestion has probably progressed to the colon and nearing the rectum. I didn’t eat most of the sandwich thankfully because I was having a good conversation with my dad. I called Arby’s and the worker said I should’ve know to order it well done as #4 is a wagyu meat sandwich. I don’t care what kind of meat it is, I’ve never in my life worried I might be dying after eating out. I go to chick fil a and McDonald’s and order whatever # all the time. This was insane and I won’t be coming to Arby’s franchises again. A shame too since the curly fries are...
Read moreI've came to this place my fair share of times over the years. And the food is always good, but the service is lacking. Today I placed my order at the speaker, and I was not asked to repeat anything at that point, so I assumed they heard me correctly. I got to the window and was asked about my fries again, I repeated what I said at the speaker, but the lady doing the fries was in the restaurant was hollering that that's not what I said. The lady at the window asked me again, and I had to repeat 2 more times what I'd already said. I've had the same issue before (from same person who was hollering today) where I ordered fries and received the other kind and mentioned it, and last time they flat out said, that's not what you said on the speaker. If fries are such an issue, I will just go somewhere else. For the price, I should be able to get what I ordered. Love the food, just not...
Read moreAlthough Arby's is not serving inside at this time, drive up window service is open. This, then becomes the "face" of Arby's. My experience with the Hartwell Arby's has been good. I have been there day and evening hours. Even though there are long lines at times I can always get a smile and a "have a good day". I do have to remember to get their names, so I can give proper recognition. Arby's food, by the way, is great. If I order no sauce, that's how I get it. Tasty and delicious, always fresh! I admit that I am a picky eater, so giving 100% happy on the food is a big deal. Oh, and their shakes are wonderful, especially now that we are having hot days and warm nights. I know I'm sounding like an ad here, but you want to...
