Me and my friend went to Sakura tonight for dinner for the second time after we enjoyed it the first time. We ordered a dish- tuna tataki. When it arrived it looked sickly and tasted sour and bad. We asked the waiter to return it and he started shouting at us that we didn’t know anything and that if we didn’t like it we should leave because their food was great and he “knows it” and we were gonna pay for it anyway and left it on the table. We were shocked. I have never had a waiter speak to me this badly so I went in and spoke with the hostess who was very apologetic but then I spoke to the manager and suddenly the waiter came back and and started shouting, talking to the manager in their foreign language language, pointing at me and I felt ashamed and violated. All I wanted was to return a dish and I didn’t mind paying for it but the waiter’s behavior was unbelievably disgusting. Never before have I been treated this badly at an establishment before, and I’m going to make sure no one I come in contact with would ever go to this place ever again! You should be ashamed...

The waiter was unbelievably rude to us shouting that “that’s the food and if we don’t know about it then we shouldn’t order it and we’re gonna pay for it regardless because there’s nothing wrong with the food” then my friend went to talk to the manager and while she was there the waiter came back and started talking badly about us to the table next to us, mocking us and asking them “how’s the tuna it’s good right because those ladies complained “ even though they didn’t even order the same dish. When he left the table confessed to me that some of their food tasted funny and their rice wasn’t cooked. All in all it was a horrible experience and I would never come back to that restaurant again. They even ended up charging us for the dish we sent back!...
Read moreWhen you first drive up, the place is small and could probably be easily missed. This is one of those small places that you don't expect to be good, but will be pleasantly surprised. When you first walk in, it is a completely different place. It has an elegant atmosphere, but not so much that you'd feel uncomfortable coming in with just casual jeans and a tee shirt (though I wouldn't recommend much more casual than that). The wait staff was very friendly and quick to offer up menus and bring out drinks. Their selection was plentiful and varied. They had a fairly standard sushi menu, along with several lunch specials. (I recommend going for lunch and getting one of their 'lunchbox' specials.) The teriyaki chicken with a side of sushi was an excellent meal, and my drink was never empty. Though the experience was nothing exceptional, it was certainly worth the money spent and a spot I'd recommend if you're in the mood for some...
