I'm not sure if this is one of the best breakfast places or one of the worst I've been to. One half of it was absolutely fantastic while the other half was not exactly. I wonder if there are two cooks back there hooked together Greg Kinnear/Matt Damon style where one is 5 star level and the other is easy bake. And they both get to make half of the food. Let's start with one of my favorite things, biscuits. Half of my biscuit was burnt, see photo, the other half was perfect. Very good home made biscuit. The good half was one of the best I've ever had. The burnt half was inedible. The tater tots looked perfectly golden brown and crispy. They were crispy, but almost refrigerator cold. Very weird! The over medium eggs were cooked separately and 2 of the 3 were just right; Runny yolk, firm white. The third egg was very runny and somehow not very warm. One piece of bacon was perfectly crispy and tasty while the other was very over done and as close to burnt as you can get without being black. Golden black I like to call it. The sweet tea was very good but really sweet, so I put in half unsweet tea, thinking it would make a nice mellow version, but it tasted absolutely terrible leaving me with the choice of either super sweet tea or really bad normal sweet tea. I added some of the lemonade which was not fresh but way better than any pre-made lemonade I've had before. So it made a really average Arnold Palmer in the end. They played a great White Stripes song on the house speakers and then a red hot chili peppers song. My mind was going from 0 to 100 mph throughout the entire breakfast. That all said, the pancake was really good, crispy edges and great flavors. The sausage and sausage gravy were good if unexciting. I guess one thing you can say for the experience is that it wasn't normal!

I have been to Topher's a couple of times, once through the drive-thru and another time dining in. The drive-thru experience was fine. I remeber getting Mama's Best Chicken Salad Sandwich. It was a decent chicken salad sandwhich. When I came to dine in for breakfast with my brother around 6:30 one morning, there were only two people working and only one other person dining in. Their main focus was the drive-thru, so customer service inisde suffered. We had to wait a minute for someone to show up to the counter to take our order. Other employees started showing up around 7:00 a.m., which was when we were leaving. The food tasted good. My brother got a steak omelet, southern grits and pancakes. I got the Topher's Bowl and some pancakes too. The steak omelet, grits, and Topher's Bowl were pretty good. The pancakes were mediocre, which was disappointing. Next time I come, it will be for that Topher's Bowl. Though trying their signature biscuits and burgers are definitely on my radar too.

I tried Topher's once about 7 years ago and I remember thinking it wasn't great, but I decided to try it today. It took about 15 minutes of waiting in the drive through before I got to the window, and there was only 1 car in front. I got a club sandwich, fries, and drink for $13, which I feel is about $5 overpriced. The sandwich disappointed me immediately when I looked at it because it's just a sandwich. It wasn't cut like a club sandwich. Additionally, the bread got soggy quickly. The flavors were good but it was seriously lacking for $13. The fries were good and they gave me a good amount of them, but they put too much ice in my drink. There wasn't much coke in it at all. Overall very underwhelming. I may come back someday if someone else pays, and maybe their breakfast is good, but I don't understand why anyone would get lunch here when you can get more food of equal or better quality for cheaper elsewhere.

My husband had a medical procedure done this morning and he decided that he wanted topher's for lunch. We placed an order to go for 4 topher burgers, 2 specialty burgers and 2 dressed all the way. We also ordered 2 orders of regular fries ,1 order of sweet potato fries, a coke and a strawberry milkshake. It appeared that the cashier was in training as she heeded quite a bit of help with the special orders. I had no problem with that. I understand that everyone has to learn . In a few minutes, a young lady brought a tray out with all the food on it. There were 2 girls who took our order and evidently, both of them misunderstood that it was a to go order. They took it back and bagged it. They were all very nice and apologetic. I was not upset with them. Everyone makes mistakes. When we got home, we discovered that they had put 3 orders of regular fries and left out the sweet potatoe fries. That was the most important thing since they were for my brother in law who is 85 and has dementia. He loves sweet potatoe fries. I happen to have a few in my freezer that I cooked for him real quick. I called Topher's just to suggest that they try to check the orders before they bag them, the person on the phone hardly said a word. It is a big deal to a person with dementia when they are expecting something and do not get it. Thank you for letting me voice...

We stopped by before heading back home from visiting Mississippi. We've been to Topher's a bunch of times before we had moved. I always remember it being so good! They've since changed their fries. They used to hand cut them and season them in a Tony's type seasoning, then double fry them nice and crisp. They're not as good anymore. They're more like store bought batter fries. The pimento cheeseburger didn't have the tasty gooey pimento cheese I remember. It was more like a clump of melted cheddar. Still a decent burger but nothing like it used to be. The service was really lacking. The order came out right, but the drive thru attendant wouldn't even answer us when we asked for extra sauces. We repeated ourselves thinking maybe she didn't hear us, we got a "I heard you". We ended up having to pull up and wait 10 more minutes for her to bring the order out. We had to tell her our kids drink was still missing, so that was another few minutes of waiting. We didn't get any sauces that we asked for. The quality has gone down quite a bit from what it used to be. Maybe it's just this location, but I'm weary to even...
