HaveABURGER — Restaurant in Haverford Township

Tried for the first time through an Uber Eats promotion.

FLAVOR Flavor of the burgers were good.

PROMOTION Deceptive promotion established by vendor, not Uber Eats. Bogo Smashburger for $7.49..ok, worth a try. Turns out the $7.49 covers the cost of the roll and garnish. There is no way to actually checkout for the advertised price of $7.49 because you are FORCED to select meat option so even the most basic option adds cost. There is no burger for $7.49 let alone two. BOGO resulted in about $14.50 bill. Billing issue was discussed w/Uber Eats in advance and we were instruction to proceed and it would be fixed later. Uber Eats agreed marketing was deceptive, yet stated that is up to the vendor to fix. SO, buyer beware. (Apparently Uber Eats allows deceptive marketing)

ORDER We ordered two simple burgers, however who ever prepared the burgers didn't read apparently as it included options we explicitly removed from the order. So there is that.

QUALITY Never saw a burger so thin; so thin it stands out when you look at product. I expect you'd be able to see daylight through the burger if you held it up to the sun. You could stack two together and 'maybe' get a normal sized burger. I should have...

Vegetarian review: First off, the folks that man this shop - Pep (primary chef and cook) and Tria (owner's sister) are swell people that will try their best to give you a great experience.

Props to HaveABURGER for serving fresh jalapenos as a topping!

I got my veggie burger in a potato bun, with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, HAB sauce (mix of mayo and tomato), mustard, fresh jalapenos and American cheese. In hindsight, I should have gone with a slice of cheddar.

The veggie burger patty, is very well made - Pep has clearly put his own take on it and it results in a patty that has a firm bite and lots of texture to it and differs from other variations on the street. The patty is definitely thinner than what I have typically found. My only contention was a lack of flavor to the patty. Given such a good construction and build - Pep is losing an opportunity to make his concoction great by adding some more creative seasoning.

Overall, I enjoyed the burger - the onion rings on the other hand - were passable. Too crunchy, overdone and were closer to rocky than 'crunchy on the outside and soft as you bit through it' rule for good rings. Go for the fries instead of the rings - hope...

Amazingly, delicious burgers!

We just experienced a huge storm and there are trees down and power outages everywhere. We decided to get some food since we are not able to cook. I called these guys up for the first time to see if they would deliver and they said since our power is out, they will drive over to us!

My GF and I decided to drive there instead and boy were we pleasantly surprised! The burgers are pure heaven. I chose to get the stuffed burger and the guy warned me that it would take a bit longer to make... and the wait was well worth it!

Everything tasted so fresh. The burgers were delicious. Mine was stuffed with bacon and mushrooms and she got the "Jersey Garden." All of the vegetables used in her burger were very fresh as well.

We both got fries and they were done just the way we asked them to be.

Over all, if you are in the mood for a great, burger and possibly some ice skating (next door) this is the place to try! You will be pleased with how you are treated and your belly will thank...
