They need to figure things out at this location given that they're at risk of losing my business. Stock inside is paltry, and that led to an issue I had with them the other day: I'd ordered one smoothie and one protein bar online for pickup. When I got there, they didn't have any protein bars. None. Said they were "fresh out", but I'd already figured they might not have them in stock given the times I've been inside and seen little. I imagine Smoothie King has some expected stocked items for their franchisees (given that I was able to order all sorts of items online for pickup).
Did the store offer me a refund? No, they offered me some yogurt-covered pretzels or a few other unsuitable options (especially given that there was a fly around the items they were offering me). I just wanted a refund for the item that they'd failed to provide. None was forthcoming. I was friendly, they were apologetic, and I left without something I'd paid for (or a refund for it). Still, I don't understand how a business of this size hasn't managed to institute a stockchecker for online ordering that matches against instore availability.
I've now had to file with my credit card company given that Smoothie King corporate hasn't responded to a simple $3.50 refund request. Absurd from top to bottom, especially given that I can still order the protein bars for pickup on the app right now. Do they have any there...
Read more3 years ago I gave this place a 5 star rating. But covid has done a number on this place, severely understaffed, constantly over worked employees who probably aren't paid enough. The last time i went there my smoothie was half made. Medium chocolate peanut power plus, no peanut butter or chocolate. I went back to ask if i could get it rectified, and they closed at 2 that day due to short staffing. So today I went after work, and they were closed the whole day due to short staffing. This place is awful now.
Edit 3/27/2022 Submitted a complaint ticket a week ago and nobody has responded (said 24 to 48 hour response window). Attempted yet again to go in and rectify this and the store was locked 30 minutes past opening.
