They removed old and installed new carpet in our glassed-in porch and upstairs and 3 bedrooms.

Harry came to our home, took measurements, and was very thorough with his samples and explanation of our options. He was also a resource later in analyzing competitors' quotes and making sure my comparison was apples to apples.

The management/office team was pleasant and reasonable, and we quickly arrived at a fair price. We accepted the price, were contacted for scheduling 2 business days later, and were put on the schedule for installation 8 days after that.

Luis and Enrique arrived on-time for installation. They were friendly, respectful, and industrious, and answered all my questions. After the work was done and they had put a queen bed back together, it needed to be shifted a few inches to reach its original placement. They did it without question or complaint.

One slight hiccup: on the day of the work, I was told by the installers that there was doubt as to whether the porch carpet would arrive. Potentially the work would have been broken up into two days, not preferable. Brian (dispatcher?) was unable to give an ETA all morning, saying only that he was being told that it would arrive that day. It had originally been expected the week prior.

In the end, the result was ok and the carpet arrived early in the afternoon, in-time for the entire job to be completed. Maybe the process could be improved with better information-sharing with carriers/logistics, and with things cut so close, it might have been wiser to schedule me for the following day if possible.

Not enough to deduct a star though. I'm sure it's not the...

Havertown Carpet just installed vinyl flooring in our kitchen. Peter was professional, friendly, courteous, helped us select the right product (quality, color, material, warranty and price wise), and very timely. He was always available via phone. The installers he sent were VERY professional and friendly. Talking about timing? Pete told me they would arrive between 8:30AM and 10AM, and will call me 15 minutes before arrival. The guy called me 10 mins early, and arrived at 8:35AM.

I wanted my existing floor to be removed. As the installer was ripping it up, he found some slight water damage underneath the previous vinyl, and he suggested a solution, which was very reasonable. They were VERY understanding and accommodating. We have a tiny kitchen, I was quite surprised the way they moved things around to rip-up the old floor, install a new one and then lay the vinyl wall to wall.........just the way we wanted.

Peter is not paying me to say all this, but trust me, if you are looking for a quality job, at a quality price, and done in a timely fashion, give Havertown Carpet a shot.... you will be a very satisfied customer.

We had a phenomenal experience with Havertown Carpet today. A couple weekends ago I picked out my carpeting in their Germantown shop. A few days later the rep from Hagerstown came out, measured, and provided an estimate. He provided alternative options and was prepared with samples too. Today the carpet installers came - right on time! They were very friendly and extremely professional from start to finish. My daughter napped through the entire install! I was very nervous because I have a small bedroom /house and a lot of heavy furniture that I didn’t know where they would move it to. The installers gave immediate assurance that they would have no problem moving the furniture and everything would be placed back exactly where it was - all very true! The installers did a beautiful job and left the room extremely CLEAN. They worked fast, but not too fast in terms of they were very precise. The room looks gorgeous I feel like I have a new house and I am happy to walk in my bedroom for the first time in 8 years of living in my home.
