On par with national casual dining chains. Not worth the 1-hour wait on a Saturday night. Service was moderate-average. Atmosphere is pretty cool from exterior (open flame lanterns and large fire pit). Interior is 'meh' (think international hotel chain lobby lounge). Seems to me they've tried a bit too hard to be modern and trendy. This place will feel extremely dated in 10 years, unless it's in their business model to renovate that frequently. Their medium-sized regional chain growth model is interesting to me. Aggressive expansion planned in New England 2018-2019. I hope the best for them, but just don't see it lasting. Food was mediocre. Nachos tasted good but came out barely warm... very little toppings. The middle and bottom of the nacho plate was just a pile of plain tortilla chips. Seemed like a methodology to feign large portions, but keep operating costs low. Very disappointing. Margarita was small and had way too much sour mix in it. Wife's entree salad was decent tasting but was smaller than expected. Definitely much smaller than competing establishments. We will probably give this place one more shot just in case we experienced an anomaly or we were a bit off balance with our observations and expectations. I am concerned about the inconsistency observed by many other reviewers so far. We would not recommend this place to anyone at this point. We like good quality food and drinks when we eat out. If in this area in the future, I would recommend one of the higher quality, more mom-and-pop type establishments downtown Haverhill (only 5-10 mins away). You will have a much better chance at getting a GREAT meal for...
Read moreWe went for my wife's birthday today. Our server was polite and courteous. The food was decent, but not great. This was our first visit there, and unfortunately, when the drinks got to the table, one of them spilled all over the table and my wife's phone, thankfully, it was waterproof. The waitress, Jocelyn, was very apologetic and was doing her best to make sure that nothing got ruined and that none of us got soaked. However, we were the ones that ended up cleaning the spill, and the table next to us was giving us napkins to help us clean the spill. No manager ever came to check with us, and when the check came I asked to see the manager. Tracy, the manager that came over, was a rude, condescending woman. She seemed to not give a care that there was a drink spilled and that we had to clean the whole thing ourselves. First she stated that she was unaware of the spill, then she backtracked on herself and said, "well it wasn't that big of a spill". She also acted like we were to blame for the accident. She seemed very displeased that she had to actually walk over to our table and sort out what happened. She took my wife's meal off the bill, but was very snide about it. I did speak with the waitress before we left, and I made sure that she knew that we weren't upset or mad with her, just the way the situation was handled. I still tipped her based on the ORIGINAL bill, not the modified bill. Because she did everything she could with the lack of help she got from the rest of the staff. We won't be returning any time soon, especially while Tracy is still a...
Read moreToday, I got steak tips. Never mix your steak tips! I had 3 good pieces and 3 bad pieces. The 3 good ones were delicious, went down nice. The 3 bad pieces looked like the cook chopped them up to try and tenderize the problem away but it didn’t work. Because it WAS takeout. It’s like they use all the food they don’t want to serve in the restaurant for takeout. It was very obvious what he was trying to accomplish. Why are you guys mixing good and bad quality meat together? Reminds me of a sub shop. Not cool. Couldn’t even chew 2 of the pieces. And for the price you guys are charging you’d assume you were getting all good meat. I used to work in a kitchen. I know the tricks. But 110 grille should know better, The food has gone down a little bit lately. All you gotta do is try a little harder and serve what you would want to be served. Other than that, the salads are great. The french fries are phenomenal and the actual flavor of the steak tips was delicious. I recently got a chicken piccata and a margarita flatbread a few days ago. The flatbread tasted like it was a store-bought frozen naan bread. Not much flavor at all. And the chicken piccata, something just wasn’t right about it like it usually is. It’s usually very delicious. I don’t know if they switched cooks or what, but hopefully they figure it out. Because paying the highest for quality food does have its reputation, and that reputation should be at its...
