If I could give zero stars I would. On June 16 around 7 p.m my family and I went to this establishment for dinner. We were created by the server right before she went outside to talk to some friends. She stayed outside for about seven minutes. After which she came inside and took a drink order. We sat at the tables closest to the window. She did inform us one booth seats were broken within the seven minutes of us waiting. I noticed ants were crawling on me. As soon as she came in I told her we were going to switch tables. She then informed me yes, the tables are broken by the window there for ants are coming inside of the Restaurant. I feel as though that’s something she should’ve let us know prior to a sitting down. We moved to the other side going towards the bathrooms. Of course when you come to Waffle House, you have to get eggs we were the scrambled eggs over easy eggs and grits. This was by far the worst eggs and grits I’ve ever had at Waffle House scrambled eggs were fried hard the over easy eggs were over, medium in the grits were lumpy as if they were from the morning time. When I told her about this, her response was because of the DHEC reasons we can no longer make over easy eggs. I informed her that should’ve said something we knew when we place the order. I told her the grits needed more water and maybe some milk or cream. The server then told me we are not allowed to make grits during our shift. Therefore, the grits are from the previous shift. I also told the server that should’ve been something we were informed of when we placed our order. This restaurant was also pretty dirty. It was if no one has swept all day or cleaned up the grill area or the dining area. The only reason I stayed was because they seem to have a lot of to go orders and Waffle House is one of my favorite places to eat. If I was the Waffle House franchise, I would remove my name from this restaurant as quick as possible they do not deserve to be affiliated with a Waffle House franchise. This is my first time in a Waffle House. I would never go back to any Waffle House however, I know it was just a lack in care at this location. This lack of care is probably in bedded into the organizational schedule and there’s nothing that can be done to change it...
Read moreWent about a month ago. It was fairly busy but I think there was only one server. One person was on the grill and another person was doing things like cleaning and I believe he did help on the grill.
I sat at the high counter at the far right. Two construction workers were right behind me and sat at the table to the left.
The manager just stood there leaning against the cooler with his arms crossed.
I waited at least 10 minutes because I was hungry and I like the food. The server was still running around to other tables and never came over to me or the table. The employees were mostly talking really loud about different things.
In walks an older gentleman. He sits at the high counter to the far left and everyone working said his name really loud and the server immediately brought him coffee and they were chatting with him.
So I got up to walked out. The manager was unphased and the construction workers were still there when I walked out.
It's nice that they know their regulars but to immediately bring him a drink while not even bringing me one or anything?
I've had poor service and it usually doesn't bother me too much but this was a slap in the face.
I will never visit this location again and I hope the manager is reprimanded. He is a middle age guy with glasses and I...
Read moreI thought picking up breakfast was a great idea; boy was I wrong. I was met with bad service and hairy food. The server rushed our order and thought that he needed to take everyone's order a total of seven additional before my food even got called in. Then when I ask for basic things such as sugar-free syrup and butter for my grits, well it eventually came since the priority was to take care of the other seven orders that all came behind me. Another thing was a group of Spanish customers came in and because the waiter did not understand what they were saying regarding moving their seat he mocked them. That was so offensive! He said and I quote (oh you're one of those). When I got home my husband noticed a 3-in long hair in his eggs. The one thing about all of the staff was nobody wore a hair net. The cook had a beard that almost went down to his stomach. It's absolutely gross. Waffle House is not the place to go right now as at least the manager on duty and those not wearing a hair net just don't care about good service. It was horrible. Because of this..... Food was wasted and so was my money. Waffle House I...
