Burger King — Restaurant in Hawaii

Oct. 2024 update. Today was last time I'll ever eat at this burger King. $20 for a single medium size meal? Unreal. Fries taste like chemicals, cold and old. Plus sat there for ever and the lady had to tell the worker no do my meal first not the car behind me.

Convenient but sometimes chicken is way over cooked and buns often hard. Like sat out long time. But the regular burgers are most always good. Fries are good.

2 YEARS LATER UPDATE.

I ordered the Mac and cheese Cheetos (only had 4 in the box instead of 5. The Mac and cheese was over cooked and dry. The Cheetos part didn't taste like hit Cheetos but did leave a nice burn that you get from Cheetos. Over all I would give then 3/10. )

Also got the rodeo king chicken sandwich. At first grab I was disappointed. The rodeo king is HUGE this was much smaller. But I will say the chicken was cooked better and over all taste was 7/10.

Worse park about Burger king Hawaii is the prices. They are EXTREMELY high. Just be prepared to pay high prices.

Update. July 2019. - the tacos are very much like jackinthebox tacos. They kind of are good. But kind of suck. Idk, if you like Jack's tacos you might like these. Who ever prepared them...

I used to really like Burger King very much when the burgers were juicy and nicely grilled, I liked them better than any other fast food burger place in the island. Now the meat patties on the Whoppers are just like any other thin, flat, grey, frankly boring 💤 slabs of meat product. I very much dislike giving a negative review to anyone ever, but I do miss the yummy freshly grilled flavor of days gone by at Burger King. I'm glad that they've added tacos to their menu even if they are not of high quality, but BK is our only drive thru option in Pahoa so it's good to have a place to grab a fast taco, and at only 39% more than the mainland price. Their caramel frappe is really yummy and refreshing though, so I have them two stars. Also, the personnel at our local BKs are so great, friendly, professional, and accommodating,and the Pahoa and Makaala locations are very clean and well maintained. The downtown location is nice too, but a little run down, but the employees really do a good job trying to keep it clean and appealing. I super applaud the addition of the impossible burger to the menu....

Absolute worst experience of my life. I have been in pure agony for 10 hours. This food poisoning is the most horrible thing I've ever gone through. You can't imagine the pain I am in. I noticed that they had changed most of the staff members at this BK. I used to go there all the time and never had a problem. Some of the new employees don't look very clean. I will never eat there again after this. I feel like I am dying. I just want it to end. I know it was BK because that's the only thing I ate yesterday. And about 4 hours later I was pouring sweat and uncontrollably vomiting with diarrhea.i hadn't eaten anything since the day before and I was perfectly fine all day before. I even did some mechanic work on my truck. But now I can barely stand up from dizziness and nausea. Something has to be done about this. It should never happen to anyone.
