Kemo'o Farms Pub and Grill — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Last night was the worst service I’ve ever gotten before. The pub has been a favorite for my husband and I since December of 2020 but last night the service from the two blonde girls who were working was absolutely terrible. My husband and I order wings and sliders and asked the waitress if either of our meals came with fries. She said no and preceded to ask if we wanted to add fries, we said okay. When we got our meals, the sliders came with fries and we got an additional side of fries. We told the waitress immediately the mixup and she replied with “well maybe I can get you a discount” then just walked away. We were left very confused because I shouldn’t be paying half off for fries I didn’t even want. We asked her for ketchup and then went through our whole meal without her checking on us. My food was getting cold and I had to go up to the bar just to ask a second time for ketchup. By the time we finished eating the other blonde more experienced waitress came up to ask about the fry situation and was rude, gave us a lot of attitude, and still charged us for fries we didn’t want. After all of this we had to wait an extremely long time for our checks and was overcharged on our Long Island ice teas. On top of it all throughout the whole meal we were never brought water. This is one of the most surprising hidden gems on the island with a lake view. You would NOT expect this from the street view. It’s a vintage type building but a classic “don’t judge a book by its cover” experience! You need to go downstairs to the “Lanai” to experience this special spot. April was amazing and treated me so kindly…even gave me a hug and thanked me for stopping by. Made me feel special! The outdoor bar is covered, but there are areas to enjoy the sun…and a covered area with pool table. I’m rating the food as a 5, especially because I watched the chef come down into the restaurant to check on everyone with great concern that all was well and overheard her passion for the quality of the food. If i could give this bar zero stars to write a review i would. It was my 1st time coming here and I’ve NEVER had such a rude server in my life even with a “packed” bar. There were 3 bartenders and the side we were standing on the older lady with the blonde hair couldn’t even acknowledge me. So i asked for my drink she very rudely looks at me and says,” my face is covered in drinks, I’m busy when i look up that’s when I’ll get to you i haven’t looked up yet”. Like okay you could have said “yes I’ll get your drink next or hey hun i see you give me a sec.” then she charged my card $54 for a BEER!!
