McDonald's — Restaurant in Hawaii

Absolutely shocked at how I was just treated by this McDonald’s. I was in the drive thru ordering and they parked me for my food. We were waiting a couple minutes and the girl comes out with the plastic tray and shoved it into our car door so hard it made a loud noise. My husband instantly was angry, as we just purchased our brand new Ford Bronco. I calmed him down and we drove off and brushed the experience off. When we arrived home, I examined the door and sure enough, there’s a paint chip where she smacked the tray. My husband is irate at this point, but I call the store to find a solution to what happened. They first told me nothing could be done, I said absolutely not there must be some sort of insurance you have. Then they put me on hold. By the way, not one apology has been received at this point. I’m holding for a few minutes then get hung up on. I call back, thinking maybe it was an accident. They answer and are completely silent then start laughing hysterically and hang up again. Do they think it’s funny to damage peoples BRAND NEW CARS! I am contacting the store owner and going forward from here. I ordered two plan mcdoubles, a filet I fish sandwich only, two medium fries and two haupia pies through drive through. I asked to have fresh fries. I paid for my order. I did not get fresh fries. I had a 10 mins drive to home and with fresh fries it would still be hot by the time I got home. So I parked the car and walked in. I told them I wanted fresh fries. They gave me my package without the 2 haupia pies. I had to walk back in there to ask about the pies. Then they tell me that it's going to take 6 mins. This defeats the purpose of druve thru. I was livid. The location is great but the service sucks. The manager Jay Paul at that time tried to argue with me after I told him that I was working 10-12 hour shift and would just like to have my order correct. He comes back at me telling me that he works 15 hours also. Like really??!! Not a good staff to work with. No organization. Not listening to their customers and just being argumentative. I would rather drive farther to Keaau and get what I wanted. No good...

Visiting from out of state so we had to try the deluxe platter and specialty pies. Unfortunately the pies weren't available in the morning (but fried apple ones were? Idk) We wanted to sit down to eat, but we had to order from the kiosk? Like no one that works there is trained and experienced enough to use the register? The food was delicious. Coffee tasted just how it does at every other McDonalds. The fried apple pies really were top tier. 😋 I don't usually eat spam, but I can see why the natives love the deluxe platter. The Brazilian sausage was almost identical to what we get at a fancy Brazilian steakhouse back home. Rice was cooked perfectly and the egg was just what I expected. Soy sauce packet was a nice touch.
