We went to Paradise Ciders pre-COVID-19.

TASTING ROOM:

Paradise Ciders is tucked away down an alley, but it is a can't miss spot. There is lots of parking in the area and the tasting room is pretty spacious. There is indoor and outdoor seating, along with an area for games inside.

SERVICE:

The staff seems to love where they work, love what they do, and, like everyone else, love the ciders.

CIDERS:

We ordered the leid back lilikoi, mango daze, pineapple cruzer, guava lava, kickit ginger, killah dragon, prickly pearadise, and hang loose juice. We stopped here after visiting seven breweries in the same day. So, my memory at that point was not at it's best. Thus, I can't tell you which cider I liked best, but I do recall loving them all. You could argue my review is impacted by the beers I had earlier that day. However, I am pretty sure I would call Paradise Ciders a five-star on any day (I'll return soon, just...

I have a few reasons for the 3 Star and it's not meant for negative shade. 1. The website isn't very helpful or descriptive on what to expect at the restaurant. 2. The food service is separate from the cider and alcohol service. So, expect to order from a QR code or walk up to get your food order completed. 3. When I was there, it was one sever (Bret?) To the entire floor. The only person I saw helping with serving the new tables was the hostess who brought waters. There were other workers around who didn't stop to check in and help that one server. Not really my cup of tea. It's a team and they all should be looking out for eachother.

Overall, I don't think I'll go again unless I need to have some cider. The cider was good, I only really liked the dragon dfruit one and the leid back one. Additionally, the food was good, but I had them before they joined...

I went about a month ago and honestly didn't even get to order. The bartender was so rude and irritated and it wasn't even busy that day. Me and my friend even tried to lighten the mood since we realized she was being very short with us and even then she was still being rude. We tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, maybe she was having a bad day. We bought a drink and left. There was no point of even ordering food. We just wanted to get out of there because we were in a great mood and didn't want it to be changed. I have eaten the food before, but to go a long time ago. Me personally I will keep it to go. It's very unfortunate it looks like a really nice spot. When leaving the bartender gave the most snarkiest sarcastic goodbye ever. Honestly I felt like I was in the movie mean girls. And I still tipped. I regretted it...

I've had this spot on my list for quite some time and finally made it out. I must say that it definitely does not disappoint! Great selection of flavors, with the option of flights, tasters, glasses and growlers. The day we came they were out of certain flavors but there was still plenty to try. They also serve pizza a few days a week. The atmosphere here reminds me a breweries on the mainland and has a very romantic lighting situation. I ended up ordering two flights with 8 flavors, and buying a growler to take home.

Oahu's own cider house! While most of their ciders seem to be young and have that distinctive "farty" taste and aroma, all of the ones I've tried had a great fruit flavor. They also do hard seltzers and the few I tried were alright. The cider's where it's at though. Can't order food from this establishment, but you can order from Hi Sliders. This requires dealing with two separate menus/ordering systems, which is a bit clunky. Sat at the bar and service was good. Thanks Nikol.
