No bathroom...well, there IS a bathroom, “but it’s not for public use” according to the snippy employee. Im informed that there is a “public bathroom” half way across the shopping center by Foodland. I walk there, desperate to relieve myself. It’s at the far end of a long dark narrow hallway that you can’t see clearly down due to obstructions. If I were a drug user and wanted to shoot up, this would be a great hallway for it.
And, oops, the public bathrooms require a code. So, I walk back to Starbucks and ask for the code and am told by the barista “4,3,2,1.” I walk back (again) across the shopping center and down the scary hallway and enter the combo...nope. Wrong combo. I try 6,5,4,3,2,1. I try 1,2,3,4. I try lots of other combos. None work.
I walk back to the same barista and ask again saying that 4,3,2,1 didn’t work. I’m told that I should just wait for Ross Dress for Less to open in 45 minutes, and use their bathroom.
Obviously upset (and now with a pucker factor of 10 on a 1-10 scale), I voice my frustration by saying, “So, what? This is one of the few Starbucks that doesn’t have a bathroom because we’re supposed to use the shopping center’s public bathroom, but you can’t get me, your customer, into the public bathroom because you don’t have the code? Let’s fix this! Can you just get the code?”
Then a 3rd employee who wasn’t even one of the 2 originally answering my request pipes up to say, “Yes, we do have a bathroom! But it’s not open to the public.”
So, in what way was that supposed to be helpful? Was she taunting me to let me know that SHE can relieve herself, but apparently all of her customers are so disgusting that they aren’t allowed to relieve themselves in her precious bathroom?
Guess I’m lucky she didn’t call the police and have me arrested for trespassing like the 2 black guys in Pennsylvania in 2018! And, BTW, I was there drinking a Vente drink with my husband who was also drinking a Vente drink. 2 paying customers sent on a wild goose chase, denied access to a bathroom, and then given attitude and an eye roll by the staff.
Avoid this Starbucks unless you enjoy being belittled in public by staff who look at you like you’re sub-human and probably carrying a...
Read moreI’m super shy and always order using the mobile app. And last year I use to go to starbucks every morning before school to get a strawberry açaí, and every morning this one barista would remember me and always greet me! I always felt so appreciated by him. And while I don’t go as much anymore, I’m still greeted by him (when he’s there) and it makes my day always. Oh and now a second barista also greets me by my name too :) I really like this starbucks and always recommends this one because they’re always so nice and friendly!
Also one time I ordered online, a sandwhich, and I had went in and it wasn’t ready so I was just waiting. A girl barista asked if I was waiting on something and I had mentioned the sandwich and she had told me they were out unfortunately, but offered me a couple other options which I was happy with. Not only was she super fast about getting the order to me and so polite, she ended up giving me a $5 off gift card too for the inconvenience. I really thought it was a sweet gesture and I didn’t mind waiting. I was just happy she was so nice about it.
Really happy with this...
Read moreMy mom comes to this Starbucks once in awhile when she shops at Foodland & Ross, so when she went the other day, I asked her to bring back their Cheese Danish. I absolutely LOVE the Cheese Danish here - its my go to pastry all the time, I NEVER change. So Delicious!! A Flaky Croissant Dough, with a generous amount of I believe, reduced fat cream cheese filling. Yum! I like their Pink Drink, Strawberry 🍓 Acai Refresher and anything Matcha! My mom likes their croissant 🥐 and a Latte. She mentioned that the employees are always nice, helpful & accurate with her order. Place was pretty clean too. No complaints here 👍
Update:3/31/2023 My mom picked up a ham and cheese croissant for me. She told me it was really good and wanted me to try it. It has a good amount of flavorful hickory smoked ham with melted Swiss cheese. The Croissant was flaky and buttery. Will definitely eat it again. She said they staff was very nice and considerate. Because a mistake was made, they gave her a gift card for her patience. She was happy they thought of her. Keep up the...
