Disappointing Service: Feeling Unwelcome
The issues began right at the door. Despite arriving almost an hour before the advertised closing time of 8:00 PM (at 7:05 PM), the initial reaction from the two employees—exchanging glances to "determine if they would be willing to take us in"—created an immediate feeling of being an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. This reluctance to serve a dining-in customer was compounded later in the meal by the staff's overall lack of attention. For example: The need to explicitly ask for drink refills after eating salty buffalo wings suggests a failure in proactive table service. The feeling of being watched and hurried to leave right at the 8:00 PM closing time further underscores the staff's eagerness to close up rather than provide a relaxed dining atmosphere. The "attitude from the staff was much worse" than the food itself.
Subpar Food Quality and Preparation
The main issue with the food centered on poor preparation and quality control, specifically with the large pizza with mushrooms and bell peppers. Undercooked Toppings: When the pizza was first brought out, the toppings were clearly uncooked and cold, they were probably added after the pizza had been baked, possibly in a last-minute attempt to fix a mistake. This lack of attention to detail forced us to send the pizza back into the oven, delaying the meal. Skimping on Ingredients: Once the pizza was fully cooked, a second quality issue was noted: a distinct lack of flavor due to a severe shortage of sauce. This was a shared observation among everyone at the table, pointing to a conscious decision to skimp on the sauce, which negatively impacted the overall taste of the pizza. In summary, the meal was a succession of flaws—a pizza that was initially improperly prepared, followed by a final product that was lacking essential flavor due to stingy ingredient portions. This, combined with the staff's unwelcoming demeanor, made for a highly negative...
Read moreAs most followers knows my fiance is a fan of pizza, I normally ask him to take me somewhere new that I haven't been to before, and he swears by this restaurant, the round table pizza.
So, being able to try this place was, in fact, very nice, available tables, good food, and a comfy atmosphere. If you're looking for someplace to enjoy some quiet time or even a small party with family and friends, this place, I would say, is the spot. They have a menu as well as an arcade, a mini arcade to keep the kids busy with video games for a bit of fun. It may not be Chuck E. Cheeses like how it was for us millennials in our childhood. But this is a family-friendly place to still bring them to.
Also. The cheese pull once you get your pizza is TMNT worthy. IYKYK.
Other than that, they also have different sized pizzas. We got the personal pan pizzas because of the fact that we wanted to try two different pizzas. Because they didn't have a half and half option, so personal pan pizzas are the better option if you wanna try different pizzas of sorts. And they're still just as filling with fresh ingredients that fresh out the oven.
So I do highly suggest to try this resturaunt if you have...
Read moreCame here after a fun fair with my family. I've never been to this place but past by it all the time. It seemed like it does well because Ive never seen the place empty.
We started with some pupus. I think we got some garlic knots and some pepperoni things. I don't remember. I just remember them being really good. We also had some beer too. That might have something to do with it.
We ordered a bunch of pizzas. We got a veggie pie, meat lover pie, and something else. The pizzas were very big and filling. We had plenty of leftovers. There were a bunch of kids running around had having a good time. My daughter loved watching them so I'm glad the place is...
