I cannot speak highly enough about this establishment, they hit the mark on so many levels!

During the day you can get quality meals to go or you can dine in, I'd expect to pay more given the selection and quality but the lunch options are offered at great prices!

In the evening the menu is exquisite, the atmosphere very refined, and the table service is genuine and attentive.

Fellow Kailuans don't even need to read this review because we all know how amazing The Food Company is.

If you're visiting the islands and brave enough to get away from the Waikiki restaurants, spend the day in Kailua. Be sure to bring a change of clothes suitable for a lovely dinner experience here at The Food Company, you won't regret...

What I love about google that the reviews are 90% spot on in the case of the food company they deserve 6 stars. The food was amazing. So fresh and delicious. The young lady at the register was so sweet and a pleasure having her take our order. The owner was so friendly and has the most welcomimg smile. You can tell he is passionate in what he has accomplished. There is also a restaurant in the adjacent suit that opens for dinner. That menu also looks amazing. The price point is also perfect in both the deli and restaurant. We did not eat at the restaurant and are planning on it when we return on our next trip back to Hawaii. P.S. do not skip the sweet treats....

I happened to stop at "The Food Company" to get breakfast after a morning hike. Most of the other customers were local regulars, and I was not, but the staff was still exceptionally helpful and friendly. Ended up getting the "ultimate fried rice breakfast"--each of the four types of meat was delectable, and the fried rice + eggs + sauteed onions combination was marvelous. It lasted two full meals for me--a generous quantity with impeccable quality! For new customers, I would just add that the menu is best suited for takeout.
