Kim Chee Restaurant in Enchanted Lake is a fantastic spot for a delicious, no-fuss Korean meal. The food is flavorful, the portions are generous, and the service is warm and welcoming.
One of the best parts of dining here is the all-you-can-eat vegetable buffet. It’s filled with fresh and pickled veggies, adding the perfect balance to the rich, savory main dishes. It’s a great way to mix and match flavors and textures. Do not forget to make a bowl of their famous Seaweed soup.
The meat jun is a must-try. The thinly sliced, marinated beef is coated in an egg batter and fried to golden perfection. It’s tender, slightly sweet, and pairs beautifully with rice and the tasty dipping sauce. The shrimp tempura is another standout. The shrimp are light and crispy, with a perfectly airy batter that isn’t greasy.
The atmosphere is casual and comfortable—nothing fancy, just good food in a relaxed setting. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need.
If you’re craving Korean food, Kim Chee Restaurant is a great choice. The flavors are bold, the prices are reasonable, and the experience feels homey. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, you’ll leave satisfied and looking forward to...
Read moreWe have been coming to Enchanted Lake Kim Chee Restaurant for the past 13 years, and it has become such a special place for our family. The owners are incredibly warm and friendly—they’ve watched our kids grow up over the years, and every visit feels like coming home.
Their vegetable bar is amazing, offering everything you could want, plus fun extras like pineapple and Jell-O, which the kids always look forward to. The seaweed soup is wonderfully comforting, and I can never resist their vegetarian bibimbap. It’s always beautifully presented, and every time I tell myself I’ll take a picture… but I end up diving in too quickly!
The kids always order the combination plate with chicken katsu, barbecue chicken, and fried mandu—it’s their go-to meal. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun, with video footage of the kitchen playing (it’s great to see them in action!), a fish tank that keeps the little ones entertained, and a playlist we absolutely love. The music always adds to the experience and makes our meal even more enjoyable.
After all these years, this restaurant continues to be one of our favorite places to eat. We always leave happy and full, and we’re so grateful to have a spot like this in...
Read moreAfter getting a recommendation from a friend, we went to Enchanted Lake Kim Chee and have found a hidden gem! Sara Onni greeted us warmly and we went with the yookaejang, meat jeon, and kalbi + butterfish combo. Everything was soooo delicious! One of the best yookaejang and THE best meat jeon I've had. Kalbi was soft and had a great balance of marination and ssaeng taste - flavorful and not too salty or sweet. The butterfish was crispy on the outside and moist and flavorful - no unpleasant fish taste - all wonderful fish taste :) Sara onni checked in on us and made us feel welcome. She feels like the mayor as she greeted all her customers and they all seemed to be long time regulars. We will definitely be back and then be faced with the dilemma of returning to these dishes that we will be talking about for a while, OR trying the rest of their menu. So happy for the recommendation and for Enchanted...
