The food was very cold, not fresh, they were out of lots of things, and the service was terrible. We had a double bacon cheeseburger meal and a Wacky Pack with chicken tenders, fries, and an apple juice.
The burger was so cold that the cheese wasn't melted and was solid. It was barely edible because the meat was so thin, dry, cold, and old. Fries were limp and cold.
They brought out the Wacky Pack without the apple juice. When I asked for the juice, the girl just said, "We're out of that," without any offer to replace it; I had to ask her if I could get something to replace it. She was visibly annoyed and asked, "What do you want instead?" She didn't even offer me any options until I asked her what they had. I opted for an apple sauce.
I realized there also was no toy in the bag for the Wacky Pack (which was in a plain brown Sonic bag - boring and nothing Wacky about it) and asked her about that as well. She said, "We might just be out of toys." "It sounds like you're not sure, can you check?" She was visibly annoyed again and said, "You should have come earlier in the day, because we ran out." She didn't go back to check. Seriously?! Half the fun of kid's meals like these are the toys and the bag they come in (ala Happy Meals), so I asked if her if there was anything she could do to correct the situation. She got visibly annoyed again and said, "There's nothing I can do." "What about the manager?" The manager is busy, we can't do anything for you." Awful customer service. The least they could have done was tell me that they were out of two parts of the kid's meal before I completed my order. I would have been okay with that and ordered something else.
For those two things, I paid $26. The food was NOT worth the price. Couple that with terrible service and you've got a recipe for disaster. Seeing all of the other reviews now, I see that the cold food and awful service is par for this "restaurant." I'll never go there again and I will actively tell my friends, family, and visitors not to avoid this place...
Read moreAlright. I haven’t done a review in years and I was having a really nice night until I got to Sonic’s sadly. As a manager, a few things. To start, I waiting in the drive through, said hello loudly to be acknowledged. There was only one car at the entire place when I arrived and that vehicle was already at the window so I had time to drive up and wait until the car pushed forward… sat there for 3 minutes and instead I pulled up to Stall # 3. I pressed the red button and instead of being greeted I was fully listening to a conversation that started with “no yeah, her her birthday is in July…. Oh” I think “oh” was the realization that their microphone was on and instead of apologizing and saying,” I’ll be right with you” it went silent for another minute. So I pressed the button again. Informed them I was waiting in the drive thru with no response. I will give it to the employee who said ‘sorry about that’ what can I get you. Gave them my order, then proceeded to wait 10 minutes and then it started to get busy. I can hear the employees having fun and chatting which I think everyone should, but no care for time management was a thing because an employee ran food out to their car twice, a car that pulled up after me got their order and their change before I got my order. For reference, I ordered: large popcorn chicken Medium Tots Dr Pepper cherry vanilla lime And Cherry limeade. I asked for ranch and was only given one. Then finally 15 minutes later I got my order and was met with a young woman who gave me a stern look saying “sorry about the wait” as if though she was upset she had to say it.
No care or concern for customers needs and time was given. The chicken was mostly deep friend batter mix with only like 4 chicken bites even though it was a large. So utterly disappointing. For corporate use: Chk 335 Oct . 23’ 23 09:38PM Stall 3/1 10132...
Read moreI was second in line on 3/19. They took the first persons order and told me that I couldn’t order until they received their food order. There is two area to order when you walk up and the area I was at was not being serviced. I waited and pushed the button again and they asked for me to please hold on. I was waiting patiently until the next person to me was putting their order in. I pushed the button again to be asked the same thing to wait. My husband was so frustrated as he saw cars pull up and their orders placed and delivered drive thru was moving but not those waiting and sweating to try and get an order in. My husband finally walked over to Taco Bell and sat at the table as he waited for me to get my order in. As a lady walked out with someone’s order I asked if she could get someone to help get my order in. I pushed the button again for service and told them at that point I have waited a half hour just to place the order so she proceeded to take my order and not even placing it on the screen. I waited to pay and wait for it to show up on the screen for a little over 15 minutes. At this point my husband had finished his Taco Bell and I still had not been serviced. There was no need to pay as they were not making my order so my son and I walked over to Taco Bell to get food. I was sad about the service. I know everyone is short staffed but you couldn’t even speak to a manager. Being second one there and not to serviced at all really sucked. Hopefully they make some changes as the other new fast food restaurants...
