There’s a lot to love about this little tea house in the middle of coffee country. There is a beautiful smell of fresh pastries when you walk in and a wide variety of loose leaf tea available. I opted for their mamaki lemon iced tea. I really appreciated the environmental conscious nature here. I was offered my tea in a glass, my straw is paper instead of plastic, and there’s a basket of mugs at the door for customers to take and bring back on their next visit. There were come gluten-free and vegan options on thebir food menu. It took every bit of restraint from ordering one of everything. I took one of their gluten-free almond cookies to go. Both breakfast plates were super filling and fresh.
Service was excellent and friendly.
But be warned there are only 4 small tables inside.

But the plate of delicious snacks is what I love the most. From cheese and bread to jams and eggs, everything pairs well together. Tealicious is tucked away off the beaten path from Ali’i Drive in downtown Kona, making it a bit hard to find. It’s also next to some residential apartments and a yoga studio, so parking can be a bit of a challenge.
