Da PoinT Lounge — Restaurant in Hawthorne

I felt like having some African food so I Google restaurant near me and this restaurant had a 5 star. My husband and I went there for dinner. On arrival we were greeted by a nice young man at the desk . This restaurant is actually a Lounge with over 7 big screen television for your viewing pleasure. The music, the vibe, the atmosphere was on point. We both met the owner and he literally had drinks with us so friendly. We ordered Goat Stew, Beef Stew, Jollof Rice , Fried Plantains paired wirh Palm Wine and Guiness Stout. Guys my palate experienced an Orgasmic explosion of all different Flavors and taste. The Goat and beef stew was so tender the Rice we took a small portion home and I literally ate every grain. Honestly I wanted to order extra plates to go. My husband is a renowned CHEF we are Jamaicans I know all about good food with proper seasoning, spices and flavors. Will we return most definitely will this place is a hidden gem that we will continue to Explore...
