Ok So where do I start! At first I judged the location from its small cozy, and non commercial building….. but boy was I wrong! This place is second to NONE! The service is personalized and romantic, the food portions are great! And the taste…. UnParalled! UnRivaled! And No Matter How Much You Order! You are always going to want more! I felt real at home here, the setting is casual and romantic. The location is authentic Italian as well. At first it can throw you off because it’s in a residential neighborhood but trust me!!! This is where you want to eat! I got a history lesson of when it was starting and how the owners started off and have maintained it for over 40yrs! This place is better than Goodfellas! My sister CJ treated me to a birthday lunch on Tues, Aug 20,2924. The owner graciously greeted us & prepared a delicious lunch which incl. fried calamari appetizer- light and delicate flavor. Veal Enza and my dish, a layered veal, prosciutto, thinly sliced eggplant and fresh mozzarella in a light sherry sauce. Portions were generous allowing us to bring home a treat for later in the day. The restaurant is comfortably cozy in size - about 12 tables, spotlessly clean and a super clean bathroom and kitchen. I know that might sound funny but as someone once in the culinary field I consider it a reflection of your work . It is a small family owned location. Nothing fancy about it at all. THE FOOD is AMAZING. After all isn't that what one wants from an Italian restaurant. The other thing is once you go there a few times you are a regular and they treat you like family. Not once have I gone there and not ended up in conversations with other tables around me. Everyone talks with everyone. It is BYOB not a problem sometimes other tables will share some with you if you have forgotten.
