Palermo's Pizza — Restaurant in Hawthorne

I have ordered from Palermo's Pizza twice. The first time it took an hour and 15 mins for me to receive my delivery which was cold when it arrived. I live about two miles from the restaurant. I called the restaurant and they adjusted my bill. I appreciated the customer service and ordered from them again a few weeks later. This time the delivery arrived within an hour. I ordered the pizza pasta combo. The pizza was cold. The pasta (fettuccini) came with meat sauce, which was not listed on the menu and seemed odd. It tasted ok. That night I had such a bad stomach ache that I had trouble sleeping. For the next five days that followed that meal I had food poisoning. I am the one who posted the photo of the Shrimp Scampi, oh, you didn’t recognize it by the photo??? It was the one swimming in Alfredo sauce, and you thought it was Fettuccine, tsk tsk. Now, I have a dairy allergy and can eat dairy if I decide to take a my meds prior to. So I wasn’t at all prepared to see an extremely creamy sauce with a side of noodles. Correct me if I’m wrong, but shouldn’t Shrimp Scampi be a pasta of minimal sauce? I thought so, could be just how it is prepared here, tasted like Alfredo sauce mixed with Tabasco, no red rooster lol... Please get it together Palermo, you have one job.

I order pizza here almost on a weekly basis and have neglected to take a proper photo of one (not that this one is either 😅 maybe next week I'll remember before digging in). Always delicious toppings and sauce made to ultimate satisfaction. I usually default to Pepperoni, Pineapple, and Feta cheese but on multiple occasions have had BBQ Chicken, the Eggplant Mediterranean, and Supreme. Always delicious, and love the thin crust as well.
