$100 card only deposit required. If you extend your stay you have to pay the deposit again each time. I checked out days ago and they still haven’t refunded it. The charge posted to my account instead of falling off while it was pending. I called to ask when they would be refunding it and the woman on the phone told me it’s not even a charge it’ll get deleted before it becomes a “sale” which is obviously not true. So be warned they charge a deposit that costs more than the room and don’t refund it for a long time. The rooms also are super basic and look nothing like what’s pictured online. They are in the process of remodeling them I think and did not very thoughtful things like replacing the carpets with vinyl plank floors so you hear every footstep of the room above you and installed barn doors for the bathrooms so there a large gap in between the wall and the door and you can hear everything going on in the bathroom. If you’re sharing the room this means zero privacy. The soap is extremely cheap. The rooms were not very clean either and my socks became black instantly. I noticed they only clean the floors with a giant lint roller sticky thing to get some of the debris and do not mop. Parking is $7 which is reasonable for airport locations but this isn’t really at the airport its pretty far and practically in another city altogether so I’m not sure why parking is extra. They use one of those electronic signature pads and ask you to sign for who knows what to check in. I was sent an invoice for the room later after asking where my $100 was and saw they attached the signature to several paragraphs of terms and conditions they never showed me which is deceptive and speaks to their business practices. It’s all very odd because they dont even process credit card transactions properly and took my card and charged the deposit without my permission in the first place so they failed to use my chip which would have required my pin. They probably do this to other people too but fyi failing to process a transaction if the card is present using the chip means they automatically lose a dispute. They kinda gave me the vibe that they do whatever they want because most of their customers are tourist who can’t do anything about it anyway and when I called a second time to get my money back I was lied to and hung up on. I extended my stay another day and initially was told that I would have to check out at 11 am and wait in the lobby until 3 when the new room was ready because it was a different room type which is a joke. And only after I asked a bunch of times and like begged her did she allow me to move rooms at 11 instead of waiting in the lobby until 3 which. Totally inflexible and other guests had similar issues. I also didn’t see them changing the bed sheets and mine looked like they had been slept in before. The satellite tv reception was so bad the TV was unwatchable. Price is pretty good still not a...
Read moreI booked a room at this place, after working all day I arrived ( very tired) to check in around 7 pm. The room was already paid for and a $200 deposit was needed. They asked for a credit card deposit, I did not have enough money so I offered cash deposit and they refused cash deposit, I asked to speak with a manager in duty and there was no manager to be found. I called the agency I booked the room from and they called the hotel, spoke to the same person I talked to and the answer was the same, they could not take cash deposit because it was not autorised by a manager. I was outside on a cold freezing night from 7 pm to midnight, 5 hours freezing on the street waiting for a room I already paid for and for a manager to take my cash as deposit. It never happened, I was left stranded outside the hotel. There was a couple of guesses that hearded what happened and offered to paid for the deposit. I thanked them very much, but did not accepted their generosity.
To the owner, This is not acceptable. I'm 57 years old and was treated very poorly by your employees because there was no manager to make a simple desicion of taking my cash money.
I would not recommend your hotel because of bad management.
You should returned the money for a room that...
Read moreWithout a doubt, the worst hotel I've ever been to. There is NOTHING to do around this area besides the beach (which always gets packed with no place to park anyway). The photos shown look nothing like what the actual place looks like. The actual hotel is all beat down and dirty. It looks like it could crumble and fall at any moment. The staff were terrible and didn't provide much help, giving you a rude attitude. The elevator gives you a serious fear of falling down to the bottom floor every time you get on it from how old and badly serviced it is. The room had a strong vintage smell to it as if you were visiting an old person's home. The TV only had 8 channels and they were all crap shows: two Japanese channels, two Spanish channels, and others that made you confused as to what the hell they were talking about. The bed sheets were dirty as if they never take the time to change them out or even clean them. This hotel also doesn't accept pets, since it said it did before I visited. This was by far my worst hotel experience ever and will not come here again, probably not to any America's Best Value Inn & Suites for that matter. I do not recommend anyone to rent a room at this hotel unless you have no...
