Hawthorne Plaza is always a nice place to shop. I come here to clean laundry, or drop off at Orbitz Cleaners next door [to get tailoring and precise dry cleaning].
If I need self care for my nails, eyebrows threaded or wax needs there's a Nail Shop available. Hopefully, there will be another clothing boutique since my fave closed permanently.
Many of the shop owners are very pleasant and welcoming from Cleaning to Postal (mailboxes, postal service, shipping needs) to Car Insurance. Shopping, discounts, pharmacy to beauty... its here!
In the mood to sit for some food at the famous Historical Landmark El Torito's it's right here at the Hawthorne Plaza.
There's Ralph's Grocery Store, my favorite. Now servicing a new sushi bar, bakery and coming soon -fresh butcher/ meat counter.
Beauty & Self Care needs there's also Pink's Beauty Supply. Even the Historical 99₵ Cents Store & More is here as well (for some really good discounts. Has most needs on a budget) WARNING: Be careful when entering. If you planned for only a few items you may come out with a full basket😄happens to the best of us)...
The closest to Bed Bath & Beyond these days is CVS Pharmacy for multi purpose, beauty and health care needs.
The prices aren't very steep at any place anyone sets there mind to want to go within the plaza.
For years this plaza has become a one stop plaza for all of my daily, weekly and monthly needs when I don't feel the need to travel out too far. I've even gone to rent movies at the Redbox. There are up to 4 Redbox kiosks available. Even Water Gallon dispensers if you're thisty and love drinking water.
The reason I like to shop at this particular plaza is because there is plenty to shop for. Aside from it's improved exterior and added shops. Sits right across from the Historical Landmark hotels [previously made into multiple hotels]. Has gas stations in every direction. From Chevron, Arco, to Thrifty. A new La Michoacana for delectable fruit, ice cream or yummy refreshing drinks. Little Ceaser's Pizza, Starbucks, KFC/Taco Bell, Wingstop, McDonald's...
In need of any Medical Doctors, Dental, Optical or Chiropractic care. It is across on either side of Hawthorne Plaza. Right along the Imperial strip headed toward Beaches, and going toward LAX. If heading in the opposite direction toward Prarie/Century is the Sofi, Forum, and soon coming Clippers Arena. Let's not forget the Historical newly renovated Hollywood Park Casino.
You name it this area has it. Keep up the improvements Hawthorne Plaza & The City of Hawthorne you're definitely moving toward the modernized century.
Much in the area to shop for. Closer to home. Convience in many aspects, distance from many things in the area that fit one's needs.
Hawthorne Plaza is walking distance from the many hotels/inns, AirBnBs or restaurants. If not grab an Uber or Lift. We're always available in the "City of Good Neighbors". Aside from entertainment and more. This City is constantly on the rise and has improved even more throughout the years. Hawthorne is steadily building to keep its tourists satisfied.
*They've even improved on getting help to the homeless people sleeping around the plaza/area. Assuming they finally opened a nice place for them to lay their heads. Been speaking to the city for years about this crisis. Seems maybe they've stepped up for the "City of Friendly Neighbors" everywhere. Especially for the tourists that come to grace us with their presence.
Love to see people come into California from all over the world Being that the LAX is not too far from the city of Hawthorne and the Plaza brings lots of terrorists to the area because of the inexpensive hotels that are in and around here.
If you want to come here to get any snacks not pay so much on food for groceries, beauty, cleaning or health care needs Hawthorne Plaza has it. Oh don't forget a Wells Fargo ATM banking needs. ATM Chase and AllPoint Dasher Direct, All point kiosks are inside of CVS and Ralph's store during store hours. This is the place/plaza to come to get...
Read moreDon't really know this place. It's been closed ever since i moved here, which was about 6, 7 years ago. From the outside, you get the idea that this place was once a bustling center, but now, with the look of an old, abandoned building that looks spooky at night and may be even haunted with the right imagination, it's still a pretty cool sight to see if you're just driving or walking by. Recommend in the evening with a loved one and share the...
