Puzo's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Hawthorne

Since I am a pizza enthusiast, I gotta tell you: WE GOT A WINNER!!! Why?!

Let's put it this way: You can get frozen pizza, TV advertised franchised corporate pizza, you can DIY at home if your oven works OR you can get The Real Thing. After all, what is a pizza without a consciously well done and rested dough and a perfect sauce?! Puzo's Special is my favorite, my kids love that pepperoni pizza pie and I can tell you this is because the ingredients are not only EXCELLENT but also FRESH!

Don't get me wrong, I know several places in NJ where you can get great pizzas as well and I will be visiting those restaurants again and leaving some reviews too; it's just that I am really happy to have found a great place really close to where Iive instead of driving over 20 min to get a decent pizza.

Puzo's is excellent not only for pizzas but for fine Italian cuisine. With that being said, next time you want to go out on a date, with the family, your fav crew or celebrating perhaps Mother's day to a nice place for diner, this...

OMG, this place is freaking AMAZING. We have been going there since our kids were little. My baby girl went off to college and we had a send off dinner here with all her friends and family. Today, she graduated and we contacted James to assist us in putting a last minute celebration party together and OMG the service was incredible, the food was amazing and their new updated patio was the icing on the cake!! If you are having a sweet16, small wedding and or just a family celebration DO Not count this place out- We love the food there, and I raved about the food there to my family and friends, and now they are so happy they found a new local restaurant. Make sure you check your bill I've been going there with family for a few months and normally pay with credit card and they do that BS where they charge a "NC" fee even though there's no real indication that credit card companies are actually charging businesses that fee. After my last time there, after paying cash, I noticed the charge was still on my bill and had to be removed after questioning it.

The food is excellent and the service is wonderful but the weirdness with having that conversation with the owners about the extra charges made me wonder how many times they leave that charge on there for people who...
