Subway — Restaurant in Hawthorne

I came into this Subway because I was in the mood for something fresh and quick. The food itself was great — everything tasted good, my sandwich was made right, and the ingredients seemed fresh. So no complaints there.

But what completely ruined the experience for me was the restroom situation. After I made my purchase and sat down to eat, I asked if I could use the restroom and was told it wasn’t available. They had a sign that said “No Public Restroom,” which I found really unwelcoming — especially for paying customers.

I understand if restrooms are closed to the general public, but once someone has bought food, it shouldn’t be too much to ask for access. It just felt like they were more focused on rules than on treating customers with respect and care.

Having a sign like that inside a restaurant where people eat and drink isn’t very appealing. It gives the impression that they don’t care much about the customer’s overall experience. It made the whole visit feel inconvenient and uncomfortable, and honestly, I probably won’t be coming back to this location.

Not the best experience ever, I got a coupon code which I asked the sandwich prepping person if I could use at the restaurant and she said yes I could use it, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered a sandwich, then at the time of check out the restaurant manager told me I had to pay full price because it was an app coupon, in reality really bad communication between employees and at the end I ended up paying full price for it because I was in a rush and very hungry at the time, it was upsetting, I live in the neighborhood but defenely I'm not coming back. look elsewhere for better food people, it was over $15...

Ok so my review is just based on my recent experience, I ordered on the app I tried to put another store but the app set me up for this even though I had changed the location, when I noticed I tried calling the store called for over 30 mins over and over and yet they never answered my call, in the past this has happened they are really quick to cancel my order and refund me but I’m disappointed in this store that did not answer the phone at all.
