Los Angeles Ale Works is nestled near the end of a street in an otherwise industrial area. It is most easily identified in the evenings by the congregation of automobiles and people.
Members of the public are welcome to enter the facility and purchase drinks to imbibe. There is an inviting outside landscape with wooden benches and tables atop a glossy, green, synthetic grass. A similarly inviting scene exists inside the main building, where some bar space and high tables may be borrowed. A handful of regular tables and chairs may also be available.
Automobiles with kitchens inside of them, “food trucks,” frequent this location. The variety is reflective of many similar establishments. These vendors are typically friendly and accommodate your requests to prepare food for you in exchange for currency.
The ambiance outside is inviting, fun, flirty, and vigorous. Corn hole can be had. Barrels are available to be surrounded by people. The lighting is fun and colorful. Music and television can be enjoyed. Some evenings feature Disk Jockeys. Karaoke may sometimes occur.
Porcelain toilets and sinks with running water can be used inside the facility. Portable toilets are situated and can be used outside.
The facility houses a sizable alcoholic beverage brewing facility, which is currently utilized to make the drink, ‘beer.’ Los Angeles Ale Works, affectionately known as “Ale Works,” features a number of interesting beverages, which are available on a rotating basis. Porters, Ales, Lagers, and India Pale Ales can be consistently obtained here. Glass vessels for drinking on premise can be used, but takeaway vessels such as kegs, cans, and growlers can also be filled for a fee.
The quality of the brewed beverages is notable. The brewing techniques, ingredients, and process controls result in a consistently enjoyable beer.
The crowd here is dominated in presence by nearby businesses and neighborhoods. It is common to see people ridden with company paraphernalia on premises, especially a local manufacturer: Space Exploration Technologies Corp.
The consistently friendly atmosphere and delicious beverages might draw one back time and time again to Los Angeles Ale...
Read moreI get they are still trying to work the kinks out, but that's no reason for being rude and unprofessional. Our reservation was set for 6, we got seated at 615, our food order was taken at 630 and beer order taken at 640. We had a 2 hour reservation. The lady that was checking people in straight out came to our table at 759 and told us we had to leave! We barely got all our food 10 minutes prior. She came back 5 minutes later and told us we had to leave again, with a few of our drinks still full. At 630 a different girl came by and said she would take our food order. But she straight out walked away after taking 2 out of 6 people's order. She didn't even say anything..just walked away. Our waitress explained she was helping out but was just as dumbfounded on why she didn't take everyone's order. This delayed our food by 30 minutes! Our actual waitress was extremely kind, and attentive..she should train the rest of the staff on how to deal with stressful situations. The beer gets 5 stars, our waitress gets 5 stars, everything else 1 star. This staff really needs to be retrained! 2 hours should be from the time your seated! Or at the very least when your order is taken. If you need us out by 8, you should of sat us at 6 or at least be nice and...
Read moreBreweries are popping up just about everywhere now a days and as long as the people are passionate for what they're doing, I'll be there. The beer obviously comes pretty close but a brewery to me is more then just the beer on tap. The environment, the people, the brewers, the quality of beer, and most importantly the people that come into these establishments. Breweries have given us another place to have a casual beer and socialize for a bit. A lounge where you can bring kids and it's not frowned upon.
As most breweries steer away from kitchen issues, or becoming a trend of restaurant that brews beer type joints. These places are bringing local food trucks or caters to fill that void and save the food hassle. Food and beer solved. Now for the beer it's good, and not just average good but pretty dam good. I've had just about every beer they have on tap, satisfied.
I have to say that I truly like the patio setting at this place. Super simple and inviting. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. I will warn you this place can get extremely packed mid week to weekend as spacex and Hawthorne airport are...
