Winchell's Donut House — Restaurant in Hawthorne

Decent donuts, clean space but the capuchino tasted burnt and it wasn't even filed up to the cup. I came in with a lady already waiting to be attended. She had been saying "hello?" various times before another customer (?) had to intervene to get someone to come out to attend to her order. The lady there doesnt even greet her, just rushes to get her order and she got her order. Upon seeing me, she says something that sounds like "what do you want?" Though I can't tell because she begins to speak in spanish to me. I'm not speaking to her in spanish mind you, I'm speaking English through my order and she continously says things in spanish. I'm like not entirely sure if she was rushing me to finish with my order because she was making the coffee almost instantly without letting me finish my order. After I finished ordering, her question after sounded like an insisting "anything else??" I would've ordered a sandwich but it seemed like it might have taken up her time or something. Pretty...

Went in late last night, due to a sweet tooth. As I'm ordering, I see flies, so I tell the server I'm cool on buying Any donuts .. I changed my mind.. He asked why.. I told him there we're flies inside of the establishment and the donuts aren't even covered to where it's easy access for them! The employee said THERE ARE FLIES EVERYWHERE!!!

I, FOR ONE, DO NOT EAT WHERE FLIES ARE.. THEY ARE UNSANITARY, DISGUSTING, ANNOYING, VOMITING AND SUCKING IT BACK UP VARMINTS! THEY'RE CONSTANTLY IN TRASH AND IT'S NEVER OK FOR FLIES TO BE AROUND FOOD.. NONE.. AT ALL.. THIS ESTABLISHMENT NEEDS SOME SLIDE COVERS OR SOMETHING TO KEEP THE DONUTS FRESH AND FLY FREE.. OTHER THAN THAT, CUSTOMERS WHO DO CARE, WILL WALK STRAIGHT OUT, AFTER SEEING FLIES.. AND TRUST ME, THIS ISN'T THE ONLY PLACE I'VE SEE FLIES AT, AND WALKED OUT.. FLIES ARE...

Save your time and money and go to another donut store. There has been TOO MANY instances where I have gotten extremely STALE donuts when I was told the donuts were fresh. Most donuts shops are honest and will tell you how long donuts have been on the shelf.. Not this one. There has also been two instances that the donuts have been undercooked! I have had to take donuts back to winchells because a donut that is fried on the outside and like raw biscuit dough on the inside is unacceptable. There are also times when the donuts have been SOAKED in grease and they've had to exchange them. Do the staff NOT examine donuts before putting them out on public display? This winchells is a huge...
