An amazing gem in Hayden!
The whiskey bar offers both their own versions of the classic cocktails as well as the classics themselves. You want an old fashioned? They offer their version with a honey spirit instead of the classic sugar cube. It's incredible. Of course you can get the classic if that's what you prefer.
Want a little bit of New Orleans? They are the first establishment I've been to in north ID, to offer a Sazerac on their menu.
Want food while you're here, too easy. They're partnered with Belle's next door and you can order off their menu. As a matter of fact, Belle's is very popular in the mornings and if you can't find seating there and are of legal age, the Bee's Knees is an excellent seating option.
I got to meet their owner, Hillary, she's amazing. I absolutely recommend stopping by and trying this new place out.
Absolutely the feel of what Hayden is trying to go for in the 2020...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Bees Knees Whiskey Bar is a hidden gem for whiskey enthusiasts and casual drinkers alike! My recent visit was made memorable thanks to Garett, the bartender, who is not only knowledgeable but also passionate about whiskey. He took the time to share fascinating stories about various whiskeys, making each sip feel even more special.
One highlight was learning about Double Eagle ā a whiskey that truly lives up to its reputation. Garett's insights into its history and unique characteristics were incredibly engaging. The atmosphere of the bar was warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing while exploring an impressive selection of spirits.
Overall, The Bees Knees Whiskey Bar is a must-visit for anyone looking to deepen their appreciation for whiskey in a friendly and informative setting. Cheers to Garett for making our experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went there for the first time tonight. Six of us met. There were probably 12 people in the bar. There was a DJ playing loud heavy metal music. 3 of us politely asked to turn the music down. Who wants to go into a whisky bar and listen to this kind of music? They turned it down for about 5 minutes & then cranked it back up. This was definitely not a high class whiskey bar. Definitely not a speak easy type of hang out. When we were about to leave, I told one of the bar tenders that it was our first time there and definitely our last time. (I was prepared to tell him why we had a bad experience) but before I could say anything further, he said āScrew you.ā And walked away. I was shocked! If youāre looking for a high class establishment to enjoy the evening sipping some good whisky and relaxing, DO...
