Bar tender review towards the bottom Honestly I've been here a bunch of times I've had wildly different experiences. The first couple times I went the place was packed the bar tenders where professional and the pizza and apps were excellent. The cherry bombs are very good spicy stuffed pepper.
The last few times I got food other than pizza and I have to say it was very underwhelming. Just today I ordered a Veal Parm sub... it tasted cheap..Very cheap..As tho it was microwaved.. when I questioned it they denied it was microwaved but never the less it was thin spongy and tasteless.. I had to dip the sandwich in ketchup to eat it if I'm being totally honest here. The fires where also old tasting as if they cook them in a big batch than nuke them to warm them up.. my buddies gyro was on the same level.. and its on par for everything else I've ever got other than what I've mentioned.
Take out.. I've ordered food to go, a couple different times from this restaurant.. and let me be clear. If they give you a pound of food (just an example idk the amounts they give) as a sit down portion. They send you home with a 1/3rd lb in a "to go" order of the same food for the same price. Never again.. they got me twice so shame on me.
The bar Tenders are also different from my past experiences. Young extremely nice and attractive woman. There service was Excellent. Me being a grumpy 28 year old, old man( lol )I didn't really care for there flirtatious semi inappropriate behavior with the older fellas but ay a girl's got to make money and that's exactly how you do it! I'd give the girls a 9/10 honestly because they really did provide me personally with excellent professional fast and friendly service with a smile I could see even through the mask.
For guys that like that kinda thing I HIGHLY recommend this place lol.
I'm Conclusion..if I do go here it will be for...
Read moreI reviewed Guiseppe’s a couple of weeks ago with 3 bad experiences, the last being a couple of weekends ago when the entire experience was extremely disappointing. Maybe shortening it and changing the expletives will help get it to show… I called, spoke to David, and ordered a large pizza and calamari for delivery, at 2:26 PM. He said they don't have a delivery driver on Sunday, until 5 PM. I then tried to pay over the phone as I always do, I was told that he was, "in the back and it'd be easier for me to pay when I pick up." My boyfriend stood, waiting for 5 minutes (he’s waited 10 previously) for the food to come up, this time, while an inappropriate conversation about "getting ‘effed’(the other word) up", was going on between an older male employee and the hostess, while another employee went to look for our food. The hostess then went to look for the food as the other person didn't come back and she "knew it was ready", she returned with the food. When we opened it at home, we were immediately disappointed with the calamari as it was about a handful. Not worth the $10 it says on the website and on the menu, I have in my apartment. Further, they charged me $14 for this handful of cold, soggy calamari (picture posted of receipt and menu). I called and asked to speak with the manager. The male (sounded younger than the original man I ordered with), said, sure, and put me on HOLD. I wanted to share our negative experiences, so they could fix the issues. I was left on HOLD over 3 minutes and hung up. The pizza is good but I wouldn’t recommend anything else and the service...
Read moreUpdate: I was out exceptionally late for appointments so dinner took a back seat. I decided to go to Giuseppe's on a whim knowing that my prior experiences have all been good to great. It was a little after 2100 when I arrived. I learned my lesson: don't go late at night.
Placed my order with my waitress, who was preoccupied with everything except her job. She was everywhere EXCEPT in the restaurant ( kitchen, talking with people at the bar tables, taking pictures on her phone, sitting on the sofa). My appetizers never arrived (and had to tell her to remove them before I was charged). My meal came out and the pasta was ice cold. I had to request refills every time despite the obvious empty glasses at our table. Nearly everything that I ordered I had to double-check on or remind the waitress. I actually had to hunt her down in the kitchen to get a to-go box where I discovered almost the entire staff gossiping.
There was a total of one other table there enjoying their evening out. At roughly 11, a gentleman came out engrossed with his phone. He proceeded to stare at his screen and say loudly to nobody in particular "the dining room closes at 11!" Instead, he should have gone to each table (all two of us) and say several minutes prior that "the kitchen would be closing, would we like anything else." The other couple were as shocked by his actions as we were and actually burst out laughing at the ridiculousness.
