To newcomers, and tourists. Got to Jaliscos, Taco Grande, Taco Shop, or Taco Bell. More bang for you buck, if you aren't paying cheap and want a solid amount for your money. Jaliscos and Cancun are your best options. (I grew up here and have tried all the hispanic restaurants, this place is new, needs work)

Overpriced, underportioned, far from meeting my expectations. I tell everyone of my friends about my awful experience there. I paid for a couple enchiladas, not two small, baby rolled corn tortillas with little to nothing worth mentioning because it'd be a disgrace to my heritage to say so. The waitress was fine, but whoever makes the price, and puts the dishes together needs to improve their portion sizes, and increase their budget. Nontheless, it seemed more like middle school grade kitchen food, rather than an authentic hispanic restaurants I haven't been back for nearly 10 months. Taco Riendo continues to impress with its delicious offerings and outstanding service. This time, I opted for the Barbacoa street tacos, and I was not disappointed at all! The presentation was stunning - a feast for the eyes before it even reached my taste buds.

Stopped here on a cross-country drive for lunch and I’ll forever be doing so when I’m going through Hays. If you’re in town for a while, it’s a must-have while you’re here. If you’re driving through and are looking for a place to have for lunch, it’s 100% worth the detour from the highway. Staff was friendly, food came out fast, and the food was phenomenal. I’m willing to bet money that every single thing on their menu is amazing. I had 2 quesabirria tacos and tacos de lengua (beef tongue) and it was up there with the best I’ve ever had.
