Really, really good, freshly and locally prepared food. Actually, the best quality foods my wife and I have found in the north woods (including a pizza restaurant in Superior that is also very good). They are not simply Sysco food service pre-prepared foods that have been reheated or fried. All the menu items we have sampled appear to be fresh and original. An actual good restaurant that apparently has a true chef on staff! We keep going back and will continue to. Sadly, they follow the restaurant business trend to charge a fee for credit cards. Interestingly, a really unhappy woman takes orders and does other things behind the counter, she has been there, and been unhappy, each time we have eaten there. Maybe she needs more days off?
