Prime Buffet — Restaurant in Hazle Township

It's just okay just like what three stars is I would have it more like 3.5 Stars or closer to 4 stars maybe even 4 stars but you know four stars would say that I actually liked it which I do but one person who says they like it can be much different than another person who likes it much different! If anything I would blame this more on the Google star reviews because 3 stars should be I liked it! Because to just say it's okay it's pretty underwhelming for a three-star rating like if I said a hotel was okay you wouldn't want to visit that hotel would you?

I know I'm probably making it a bigger deal out of this than I should so I will say I will make it 4 stars! This place I feel always had a lot of potential because of how big it is and because of the scenery you feel like you're in a different world when you step in there but most food items are the same they always have the same stuff! I've been going to this restaurant for the past 18 years my only issue is really the selection of food items that they have at the buffet but to be honest it might be nitpicking because really if you go to any buffet you can't get the whole menu at the buffet but still you don't get that many food items one tiny section is the dessert which is just like elephant ear cookies ice cream two different kinds of cake and some other stuff then there's one section for like fruit and pudding and some kind of squid salad which is really good it's in this like little spicy Italian dressing!

Then you have two or three sections which are all divided by rice, soup, Lo mein, few different types of shrimp, few different types of Chinese chicken, chicken and broccoli, steak with peppers, fried rice then you have your sushi section which is a nice thing, then there's a section of I guess their version of American / Italian food which is underwhelming!

My thing is why don't you have ribs like Chinese barbecue ribs instead they have like regular American ribs which like I say the only ribs I like are Chinese ribs the only ribs I'll ever eat are Chinese ribs!

There is one section that I believe also has a cook where you bring him ingredients I guess and they cook it for you I haven't used that area or section in maybe over 5 years! I would say it's very good but not great if we're talking about great we're talking about the amount of items at the buffet we're talking about the scenery we're talking about the cleanliness, we're talking about the staff, we're talking...

So my significant other and I do not go to buffets very often as we like to try new things and different restaurants but I caved and said okay we can try this one. Ugh! Totally disappointed! The waitress was not on top of it to make sure we had enough water. While at first we were excited this place has crab legs and blue crab the raw oysters and raw clams and the sushi with salmon, tuna or yellow tail on the sticky rice. The rating kept dropping with every issue I was seeing. While I understand it can be hard to keep up with bringing the food to the buffets but when they keep bringing out food that is NOT being eaten versus to keep up with what is I find that wasteful and wrong. When they would finally bring out the crab legs they had already been sitting out for so long waiting to go to the buffet they weren't hot and they only brought out a small amount at a time. Meaning enough for one maybe two people! They were not keeping up with the sushi either and when they were asked to make more they made 3 of each again not even enough for one person! As you can see by the pictures the sushi was nothing and what little rice that was there fell apart and you couldn't enjoy it The raw clams and oysters were the best part. I have to also say what the heck is up with the butter? It tasted like it was not only watered down but no salt which is not what is wanted for the crab legs etc...not to mention the cocktail sauce tasted like ketchup again yuck! Another major issue is could it hurt to have the wait staff smile when serving guests? I understand there language barriers but still to ensure guests return it would be nice to feel like we are appreciated and have us want to return. I do not recommend this restaurant and I do not see us...

I previously gave this place a good rating til I went on/ 7/31/22- stay clear - the food quality went really downhill- I ate some of the Salmon- it was spoiled/ pitza not cooked correctly- raw dough inside - it wasn't cooked properly-someone threw it in oven till cheese melted on top- then they serve it- I told the management the fish was spoiled and not cooked they said they have a different supplier for fish- they kept the fish on the buffet anyway. Pitza I told them about when leaving/blew me off- During dinner i also tried the chicken with broccoli- the broccoli wasn't cooked at all. Puke pit anymore. Service was poor. Better in the past. This place should do us all a favor and shut down. Some one is not managing kitchen correctly because quality control on outcoming product is poor. It's just a production line for food. On a positive side the fruit on buffet was good lol. They do have a hibachi grill but after tasting the salmon- no thankyou as I dont want food poisoning. After complaining to the front management and paying over 50 dollars for dinner - they won't ever see me again- management at register could have reduced bill since my dinner...
