Angela's Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in Hazlet Township

Absolutely disgusted. Returning, supportive customers be warned.. two weeks ago I called into this establishment (a returning customer of 10 + years) and ordered two dinners via telephone. Both dinners were cold. I called and mentioned this and was provided an apology. Tonight, I placed an order for several items. Not only was my anticipated delivery time of 45 minutes doubled but when I FINALLY received my order, everything was ice cold. When I called to advise this, the customer service I was provided was feeble and pathetic. I requested a refund and I was placed on hold by Grace. She returns with the story that her driver was in a little accident and they apologize for the inconvenience. She also advised me that the food was cold because, “It was cold out”. Rewind to my status call; food order placed online at 6:47p, confirmation of an anticipated 45 min wait at 6:49p. I called to check on my order at 7:59p in which I was advised they are en route. Please keep in mind, I live ONE MILE from this establishment. Even if their driver got in a little fender bender, he would either be much more delayed or a hit and run fugitive. Either way, Graces feeble attempts at excusing this lack-of were more than disappointing. Let me add that as I draft this review, a delivery driver is picking up the delivery in exchange for a refund. FYI: we ordered a large plain pie, mozzarella sticks and garlic knots; do yourself a solid and check for freshness. Bottom line, they just lost the support of one of...

Ordered food from here last night and the conversation started as followed: “Hi I’d like to place an order for delivery.” “I don’t have your address.” “I’m sorry?” “I. Don’t. Have. Your. Address. Are we done?” “Can I give you my address after saying I wanted to place an order?” “I guess so.” I then gave them my address to which they argued amongst themselves if they could/should deliver to me (as if I don’t live 5-10 minutes down the road.) Past the beyond horrible customer service the food wasn’t worth the trouble anyway. If you tried to grab and/or eat a slice of the pizza the cheese fell right off as if it was put in separately and the mozzarella sticks were cold to lukewarm. The icing on the cake was that about an hour after getting our food. My phone started ringing and I recognized it as this place. I order from here out of seven days a week at least 4 to 5 times a week maybe I will order the entire week whether it be lunch or dinner, their food is greet me and my husband and my family and kids absolutely love it we have been coming to this restaurant and ordering for years same greet owner, prices are affordable especially for the portion of food you are given. Would definitely highly recommend this restaurant if you are not from the area and are looking for a good dinner, a good hot sub, a good cold sub, good fish everything they have is great. I have had no complaints with anything I have ever tried there and neither has anyone of my family members.
