Marcy's Deli — Restaurant in Hazlet Township

I was so excited to try the breakfast sandwich that everyone has been raving about. I stopped in this morning and I have no idea what you all are talking about. Let's begin. The deli area is a mess of various appliances, that area is not organized, and things are left on the floor like the panini press until it is needed. My porkroll was being cooked behind a mystery door, was there another employee working diligently at a grill I am not sure, the manager who was preparing my food kept going in and out that door attending to it at least half a dozen times. GLOVES!!! Gross the worst part and the reason I threw away my sandwich without even trying it. He never took off or changed his gloves. He kept them on to use his phone, take another order, open that door multiple times, handle sausage, everything. He only took them off finally when he used the register. Price on items. Another customer came in and was shocked and not surprised to pay 5 dollars for a BRISK Iced Tea, Apparently its from Canada (How exotic). This was 100% a disappointment from a place that's only been open 2 months. Train your staff better. The hand wash station had things hanging on the handles and was bone dry. I just love it here 😩 i didn’t know i needed Marcy’s in my life until i had Marcy’s in my life. Food is so good and so fresh everytime, the variety of sandwiches & exotic snacks is better than any other place around. The broccoli cheddar soup is my weakness. The owner/staff are always welcoming and helpful with recommendations when i don’t know what I’m in the mood for. Wow. It’s hard to put Marcy’s into words. The food, 10/10, the exotic imported snack and beverage selection, 10/10, the atmosphere, customer service, and family element is just outstanding if Marcy’s was a restaurant I’d bring my family there every week. I eat there almost every day. If you haven’t been there you’re really missing out.
