Ryan's Homemade ice cream — Restaurant in Hazlet Township

Ryan’s Homemade ice cream is very good! The ice cream is rich and creamy. I haven’t tried a lot of flavors yet, but the best flavor I tried so far was cookies & cream. It was one of the best cookies & cream flavors I’ve had! It was packed with crushed Oreos! Their fudge based ice cream flavors are also very good. I prefer their fudge brownie over their fudge m&m flavor. The Somoa flavor is also very good. One flavor I don’t recommend is Reese’s Blast. There was barely any peanut butter or mix ins in it. The portions are generous and they are generous with toppings. The only disappointing part about this location is I wish they had a larger selection of flavors. I think they would be very busy if they had more flavors to choose from. The staff is very nice, and they let you sample. I recommend Ryan’s Homemade Ice...

We have been waiting for Ryan's homemade ice cream to open and finally went tonight. There weren't many ice cream options to chose from, suprised by that and most were pretty low for a beautiful Saturday night. We ordered two small sundays and they charge for every topping including the whipped cream. One sunday had one topping and whipped cream and the other had two toppings and whipped cream, total was $15.99, portions are on the smaller side. The cups are too small for what they serve, our toppings kept falling out when trying to scoop too eat. I got the mint oreo and didn't taste much mint, it was pretty bland too. The staff was very friendly, inside was clean but a little warm. Very dissapointed...

Went twice this week. The strawberry ice cream didn’t taste like anything but vanilla…the cookie dough also had zero flavor. When you pay almost $8 for a small cup, you expect better. Also inside the store is uncomfortably warm, feel bad for the employees…went for a third time with a different set of people and agreed that the flavors are just very plain tasting and a lot of the flavors were nearly...
