China Garden — Restaurant in Headland

Surprisingly terrific lunch at China Garden. What appears to be a rather ordinary restaurant on the side of a busy highway, turned out to be a place serving excellent food! We ordered 4 lunch specials, all of which were delicious, well prepared, served hot with fresh , plentiful vegetables and generous portions of meat. I can recommend the beef broccoli, the chicken lo mien and the shrimp and vegetables. The hot and sour soup was really good. The egg rolls were steaming hot, crispy and delicious. The owners and employees have always been extremely nice. The food has always been good. No matter if we order or sit down they always provided us with hot food. I really can't remember anytime that they have messed up my order. And as far as the bug reviews go I've never had or seen anything in any of my food and I've been dining with them for 10+ years easy. The post that references bugs look like outside bugs to me...caterpillar/worm that came in with lettuce or vegetables and the other picture wasn't great but it almost looked like a leaf hopper both of which are outside bugs...

Well should have learned from the last visits, my first visit their was decent but thought I would try one more time I live about 20 minutes away I ordered house special fried rice with 2 egg rolls to go which is my normal today if I wasn't 20 minutes away I would have took it back , it was just like the second visit the food was so soggy and nasty like it was cooked day before are dipped out of a pot so salty and wet my impression of fried is flaky the beef couldn't hardly cut it with a knife , maybe my dogs will eat it because I sure can't.
