I was not sure what to expect given the limited offering at their farmers market stand when raising money for their storefront last summer. I was so excited to see so many options for customization including sweetness level, dairy alternatives and acknowledgement that more flavors and more menu options are coming soon. The tapioca pearls were perfection - the perfect level of chewiness and consistency throughout! 25% sweetness was a little bit sweeter than I expected compared to other places I've been, but the drink was still delicious and not too sweet. I am happy to have such a solid boba option in Helena! So looking forward to coming back here many more times in the future, especially as their place becomes more of a vibe featuring local vendors and artists, and their menu options expand! Soft opening today! Within 3 min of opening this store had a line from the kiosk to the door. I got a classic and was very happy.

How to order Boba: pick a base tea flavor, the % of sweetness (most people like 50%, I like 25%), then pick a type of topping. A tapioca pearl is a semi soft ball that you drink with the tea. Popping boba are very thin balls with flavors inside so when you bite them they explode in your mouth.

My experience: I’m happy and impressed with this place. I’ve had Boba all over the country and this is a fair price and taste exactly like you’d get at a place in Seattle, San Francisco or any city China town. As of lately the Tapioca Boba has not been cooked properly every recent visit, was great in the beginning and that’s why I’d go there, seeing as the customer service is extremely rude for no reason, I believe in supporting local business owners, but this owner is specific does not deserve my business any longer, it’s one thing to not even make the boba right and then give me rude service on top of it even though I have nothing but respect towards people who work in service....
