Braveheart Highland Pub — Restaurant in Hellertown

I always eat here for dinner after Celtic Classic in Bethlehem, PA during the last weekend of September. Perfect and authentic for finishing up a Scots- Irish kind of day. 🇮🇪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥃🍺. It's also my most favorite restaurant in my favorite place in the world, the Lehigh Valley, Hellertown. I love pubs and bars as a hangout for a nice time and night out. I would even live in Hellertown, Bethlehem or anywhere else in the Lehigh Valley since I could have a favorite restaurant of mine such as Braveheart Highland Pub close by and be able to go back there more often from time to time. This Scottish-inspired pub is the best restaurant I've ever enjoyed eating at because of its authentic Scottish and Irish dishes that go perfectly with wide beer selections and with authentic malt whiskey. The desserts are very decadent and true to authenticity. My opinion, I really agree with the 4.5 star ratings and good reviews of Braveheart Highland Pub, and I like it's description on Google Maps as having a warm, homey vibe and traditionally authentic food and drink pairings that make for a perfectly good atmosphere in a pub. It's remarkable for being more authenticity Scottish as well as Irish and English with its great eats. It's always a pleasure to come into the Highland Pub and enjoy the food, beer and whiskey selections, and Celtic atmosphere the pub has to offer. Braveheart Highland Pub is a good casual dining bar/restaurant with an extensive casual menu and a great selection of specialty beers on tap. The potato leek soup as an appetizer is excellent. I had the Sunday Roast (Sunday only) which was top sirloin sliced with mashed potatoes and peas. I was expecting the beef to be moist and with gravy. In fact, the beef I believe was a pre sliced variety which was a bit dry and no gravy. They would be wiser to serve a crockpot style beef with gravy and a fall apart texture. Perhaps pot roast? My wife had fish and chips which according to her was good but not memorable. The prices are reasonable and there is a good choice of beers and cocktails. The beer prices are very reasonable. I started with the Scottish eggs and Scottish nachos. They were both good, but wouldn't order either of them again.

For my entree I ordered the Braveheart chicken Oscar. This dish was fantastic! It's made with chicken breast, lump crab, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and lemon butter sauce. The chicken melted in your mouth! Highly recommend.
