The food is always horrible quality, the produce is always rotting with bugs, the service is always horrible. I’ve been yelled at and sworn at by employees. Monica harassed me and my husband because he publicly posted about the food being bad. Monica has been shaming people for years to support her business because everyone knows it’s not worth supporting. High prices for terrible quality. Would never recommend. They deserve to close like everything else in Greenville.

I left this exact review on Facebook and Monica called me “rotten” and told me to “grow up” after accusing me of lying, then proceeded to block me and message my mother calling me names and saying how horrible and evil I am. Everything I stated in this review is 100% true. Monica responds aggressively to almost every single negative review on Facebook and Google and it is extremely unprofessional, which only proves my point. She is in her 60s but acts like a teenager. She has publicly slammed customers for leaving negative reviews on numerous occasions over the years then plays the victim to garner sympathy like she did nothing wrong. She has treated employees and customers horribly for years. Also, I used to work at a grocery store that is no longer open where she would come in multiple times a week to buy food for her business. She bought many frozen or jarred items and resold them claiming they were homemade. She also would always buy the rotting, discounted produce every single time which fully explains why her food is always low quality with fruit flies. I will not allow her to intimidate me and I strongly encourage people to not patronize...

The ambience is fun, service was great, and - most importantly - the food was wonderful. We went to The Bent Fork around 5:30 on a Saturday. There was no wait, but many tables were full. My husband ordered steak kabob, and I ordered the spinach salad entree from the specials menu. We also tried the spinach and artichoke dip, the broccoli and cheddar soup, and a pretzel caramel brownie for dessert. The food was simple - with basic ingredients - and delicious. I asked to try both house dressings for my salad, and they were both so good that I couldn't decide, so I split my salad in two and had both! My husband said his soup was wonderfully creamy and his steak was cooked perfectly. The brownie and ice cream we had for dessert was decadent and perfect for splitting. The restaurant's owner was present and involved. We spoke with her before eating and made sure to thank her for a great meal at the end. The service was personable and quick, and the price was very good for the quality of food ($40 for an appetizer, two entrees, two drinks, and a dessert).

In all, I highly recommend eating at The Bent Fork - good for families (there is a kids menu with all the basics), friends, or couples. I enjoyed it so much that I just had to write a detailed review. If you are in the area, make...

We went here July 29th . We had a little bit of a hard time figuring out where the place was . Also there is no sign up on the building . In the back of the building it looks like some garage or warehouse . We entered and was greeted by the hostess and seated . Anyhoo , inside is some very creative decorating . I was impressed . She uses recycled items as decoration . The chandeliers were made of teacups and saucers . It's amazing ! Our service was fast and friendly and food delicious . We ordered the cheese wheels and potato skins as appetizers . I recommend the cheese wheels . I had the Golden Cow roast beef sandwich ( YUMMY ) . They had at least five different specials listed on the board . The desserts are not on the menu . You have to ask . Many different cobblers to choose from . We skipped dessert . They do not serve alcohol . Prices are good . 10.00 -15.00 range ... dinners etc I asked how long they have been in business and the waitress said since 2014 . I then asked about the sign . She said they had one and were soon going to put it up . I was just puzzled , being in business for three years and no sign . That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars , is not having a sign . Try it , it's a great...

My wife & I were in Greenville to drop off a pair of her shoes for repairs at the Shoe Hospital (try and find a shoe repair business anymore!) and decided to find a local (non-chain!) restaurant for lunch. The Bent Fork turned out to be an excellent choice. Monica & Mark, the owners are very friendly and take great pride in their business (the restaurant is about 7 years old). The word eclectic doesn’t due justice to the interior design that Monica came up with out of (mostly) salvaged materials… it works great with the atmosphere. We had burgers for lunch… the Black N’ Bleu for my wife and WHATAFUNGUY for me. While the menu makes no mention of any “burger” in the burgers, these are hand prepared 8 oz (at least) burgers. Both were excellent. The menu also makes no mention of a side… the burgers came with fries, crispy & cooked to perfection. If you stop here, bring your appetite! The food is great and the portions generous. We’ll probably be back soon, as we have to pick up the repaired shoes in a week or so…

So after a long day at lake Pymatuning . We decided to get food before heading back home. There were quite a few local options for us to choose from. We decided on going to the Bent Fork. It was about a 10 minutes from the Lake. The only thing negative about the place is it's Cash Only. Inside is very interesting. The whole place is built with antique and home made one of a kind items and decor. A lot of imagination and art skills were used to furnish the place .The menu wasn't the largest, but it had a nice selection. The place pretty much makes everything fresh and or by hand. The real homemade stuff like grandma used to make. Are party ordered a 2 Dumpster burgers and 2 orders of Chicken Alfredo. It will tell you the burger was a 10 of 10. I also tried the wife's Alfredo and it was amazing also a 10 of 10. So we took a chance and found a hidden gem. Will definitely visit again.

So this place is nothing to look at... On the outside. As you can tell by the picture on the inside it is totally different and no I did not take pictures, it is worth seeing for yourself! This is a very inventive and interesting place to go and I have to say the service and food was fabulous if the owner can get the cook to stop deep frying the bacon then I would have called it perfect... the half pound burger was fabulous, the ingredients fresh and tasted wonderful at the fries were pretty decent too. Followed by an apple cobbler made from scratch and actually baked! Not microwave like most places to nowadays. The Bent Fork was an absolute great stop in an otherwise mundane day. And yeah the waitress was cute too. LOL!
