If I could give zero stars, I would. I don't believe in judging a restaurant off of one experience, especially if it's a bad one. I try to give places the benefit of the doubt, as a business owner myself I know we all have bad days and aren't always at our best.
But I have patronized this place 3 times and each time it was exactly the same experience with the same problems. The servers were all young, mostly girls and they seemed to be more concerned with talking and laughing with each other than with doing their job and trying to make sure the customer has a good experience. Took at least 10-15 minutes to get coffee. I know I know... how dare I expect coffee to be available quickly at a BREAKFAST place! Sad thing is, I could see my waitress standing there gossiping with another server when she was supposed to be getting my coffee for me. Then had to remind her I asked for cream and sugar, so she had to go back. Never came back with it, then when the food came out, had to remind her again and after three times of asking and the coffee had already cooled off, I finally got it.
Honestly I can forgive bad service and long wait times if the food is actually good, but Jeez Louise... all 3 times it was TERRIBLE. It is ALWAYS overcooked, pancakes come out either burnt or almost burnt, eggs overcooked, bacon was overcooked to a crisp, I know some people like crispy bacon but not almost BLACK crispy bacon... and don't ever make the mistake of ordering a steak from them, it was so bad I was convinced it wasn't even really beef it had to come from another animal, that's how bad it tasted. Definitely the worst meat I've ever tasted in my life.
So all in all, after 3 visits and all of them being long, terrible experiences with bad service and some of the worst cooked food I've ever had, I can say I'll probably never go back and I will warn others not to go here either.
Hands down THE WORST restaurant in Henderson and I have heard many many other people that have had bad experiences as well and echo...
Read moreI came in, but no one wanted to acknowledge my existence until I literally got up so close to the counter that one lady finally asked me if I had been helped after 10 minutes of being ignored by all of them. Of course I hadn't been helped. They were too busy talking amongst themselves to stop ignoring me standing right in front of them. Maybe it was a contest to see who was going to break down and say something to me. The server passed me 4 times and did the same thing. I just read some of these reviews and apparently this happens a lot at this location. I sat down and it's another 10 minutes of nothingness. The waitress, who was ignoring me before, is now finally acknowledging me and fake-fussing at the others for not telling her, when she simply didn't want to be bothered. What a performance. The restaurant had about 6 or 7 tables going in the entire establishment. It wasn't even at half capacity. Probably about 1/3rd. I could sit anywhere. Ya know, a lot of us are getting sick of this lazy, passive aggressive, selective assertiveness attitude where the customer has to guess what mood you're in or how you're feeling today and wonder if we should just walk out, which is what you probably want anyway. But, if this keeps up, you won't have to ignore anyone when you're out of a job. Not because of my one review, but due to lack of business. When that happens, don't blame it on the rain. Well, I was there to eat and finally, I did. The waitress is now referring to me as "Love". Yep, ok. 20 minutes ago I guess I was "Get Lost". Now I exist because I wouldn't leave. I got the Denver Omelet. It was fine, but the hashbrowns were cool and wet in the middle, so I didn't bother eating them. Gross. The toast was thin and hard. Stale bread? This was my last visit to this Denny's. Don't even bother responding, because managers were right there and didn't have a clue or didn't care. Welp, neither do...
Read moreI recently visited Denny’s and was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the entire experience was. The atmosphere was exactly what you’d hope for in a classic diner — warm, welcoming, and comfortable, with that familiar mix of sizzling bacon in the air and the gentle clinking of plates in the background.
The food was fresh, well-prepared, and perfectly portioned. My order came out exactly as requested, cooked just right, and served hot. You can tell the kitchen team takes pride in getting it right the first time. The menu offers something for everyone, whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast, a classic burger, or lighter fare.
But the real highlight of my visit was the service — and that’s thanks to Sheri, our server. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and genuine friendliness that instantly made us feel at home. Sheri was attentive without being overbearing, checking in at just the right moments to refill drinks, see if we needed anything, and make sure we were completely satisfied.
What really stood out was her professionalism combined with a cheerful, personable attitude. She remembered details of our order without having to double-check, and she made sure any special requests were met without hesitation. Sheri also had a knack for making small, pleasant conversation — just enough to make the meal feel personal, but never intrusive.
It’s rare these days to find a server who truly elevates a dining experience, but Sheri did exactly that. She turned what could have been a routine meal into something memorable. I left not only satisfied with the food but genuinely happy with...
