Giuseppe's By the Lake — Restaurant in Henderson

The food is very good. Teetered on the border of very good to great. More on that in a bit. The Henderson edition, been there twice. First time I visited, we sat in the bar area, and the table was like the size of a four-year-old’s highchair, lol. We got through it, two couples having a couples date night. The food was excellent that night, we had a bottle of wine and everything was great. Second visit, we sat in the dining area. The table was much bigger, but the atmosphere was a little less entertaining. The TVs were a little far away, if you care for that sort of thing. I had the chicken tenders, and that was bomb. lol, I’m trying to eat light and ordering off the appetizer menu is ok. Don’t judge, lol. The criticisms have been that the pasta was a little too seasoned in the sauce, and the pizza crust first bite was a little too soft, dough-y. Pressing the individuals that gave those criticisms, they were teetering on whether or not they thought that was a fair criticism. By the end of the pizza, they were very pleased with the crust, the last bites were very crispy. This review is a full recommend, I’ve been pleased both times with my visit, it’s hard to please everybody obviously. This is a hard recommend. Great job...

If you haven't yet tried the new Giuseppe's on Lake Mead Pkwy you're missing out. This is a family owned business and I think this makes it even more special. I have been here for dinner twice and several times for happy hour between 3:00-6:00 every day. They also have gaming at the bar and it's quite popular. They are also open 24 hour a day and a special breakfast brunch on weekends. If you want to watch a game on one of their many TV's, this is your place. The appetizer's are only $9.99 and you get a ton of food for the money. They have great beer on tap which is also on the happy hour menu. You must try the Cali Squeeze blood orange beer! It's absolutely amazing. Most of the employees are family members and you can tell how much they care about everything. The owner arrives at 6:00am to make his signature dishes and they are yummy, especially the cheesecake. Plan on taking food home because the portions are huge!
