Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Henderson

First time here. I decided to give the drive thru a try and was greeted by a friendly, personable and energetic employee via the intercom. I was one of two cars in line, so, my wait time was minimal. I ordered two grilled chicken salads and was told to drive to the front while the chicken was prepared. Both salads were flavorful and tasted great. They were fresh and looked amazing. However, they did have an “excessive”amount of lettuce. On another note, while waiting, I went inside to use the men’s restroom facilities and found several paper towels scattered on the floor and the trash receptacle overflowing with discarded paper towels. It appeared that the restroom had not been cleaned for some time. I noticed there were no customers in the dining area, in the drive through, nor at the counter but there were several employees working. Although, food is one indication of an establishment, the cleanliness of the dining area and restrooms are another and speaks volumes to the overall reputation and quality of the food. Clearly, this falls on the shoulders of ownership and the management team.

Second and last time coming here. Unfortunately, this location lacks attention to detail, supervision and good customer service.

I ordered a Garden Salad with grilled chicken. I requested balsamic dressing and received Ranch dressing. My wife ordered a Spicy Chicken and received cold fries.

I had previously given this location a raving review due to the hard working and polite teenagers who do their best at the helm of the brute lady who runs the place. I’m updating my review based off my most recent visit. I went through the drive through and selected my items. I was asked if my order looked correct on the screen, it did not. I was being charged more than the advertised price for an item. This has happened nearly every time I have gone to this restaurant and typically the staff corrects their error without issue. Not this time. I was given some story about how the “materials used to change the sign hadn’t come in yet”. I protested this and directly asked if they would be willing to HONOR THEIR ADVERTISED PRICE. After some huff and puff and the cantankerous owner screaming “JUST TAKE IT OFF” or some insane proclamation to that effect, I was given a military discount? People, I just want to pay what I see on YOUR POSTED MENU. It’s not that difficult to run a retail location and have a sign match the point of sale system. I was treated like an inconvenience and a nuisance for simply wanting to pay the menu price. I encourage everyone to CHECK your balance due before you pay here. Because this place is so close to me I have tried giving them a shot to earn my business. The only time I get good food is when I eat inside and that is only because I can immediately show them how bad the food looks so they can fix it. Only then do you get something prepared on par with other Jack in Box establishments. By far, this is the worst fast food place I have been to, which disappoints me because it is so close to my home. I have been there at least 10 times and not once have I been happy with that choice. Today, went there for lunch and ordered in the drive thru. I spent almost 30 minutes waiting and only had three cars in front of me. On top of that, I ordered 4 tacos and discovered no meat in them.
