Starbucks — Restaurant in Henderson

It pains me to write this review, as we've been loyal customers for 4 years, since we moved close to this location. Lately the drive-thru has been taking an excessive amount of time, so it is no longer feasible for me or my husband to stop by for coffee in the mornings, before work. Also, they seem to have difficulty processing orders accurately. For instance, a few days ago, employees took such a long time that my husband had to leave with only his drink and not his pastry. He told them that he would be back for the cookie another day because it was taking too long (about 10 mnts waiting). Well, he went back this morning, placed an order through the drive thru and then told the lady who took the order about the pastry. She replied "I can't just give it to you." Then he told the lady who charged him for the order and she just said "I'm sorry it took so long, but I can't give it to you". Then he went inside the store, and all the employees started laughing at him when he asked to speak with a manager. After a few seconds, Mason, reportedly the manager, told him that a lot of people make false claims to have paid for things. He had to tell him the exact date and time he placed his order for him to believe him. It was a horrible experience, as my husband felt he was being treated as a thief as the employees were also laughing. Sad that these new employees are rude, don't know what they're doing, and don't seem to care about the customer. Mason did try to remediate the situation after verifying the transaction and said "I'll make it up to you." My husband told them he was not seeking anything for free. Nice place, good drinks, quick Went to connect with granddaughter who is a pre teen and my daughter.So My granddaughter felt grown up, No hot coco for her, a day out with grandma & mom. Sometimes children have heavy burdens on their shoulders,we may not no about. And they don't know how to solve them,or what advice to give serious issues.As parent you don't know what's always going on inside of their head it's good to do sit down & listen.When you have more than one child & all children talking at once it's hard to understand that there are serious issues in 1 child head & they don't have the answers & sometimes as a parent you don't have the answers but it's good to listen. They're very quick with the orders, so it's great. Not much wait time. However, I had come in during the evening, sometime around 1930, and I asked for a hot matcha green tea latte made brève. I had even repeated myself and enunciated the word BRÈVE. I hadn't realized until I got home and took a sip that the barista had used cream instead of half and half. I pulled down the coffee sleeve and lo and behold, it said "cream". I'm a creature of habit when it comes to Starbucks, I order the same thing every time.
