Toastique — Restaurant in Henderson

This morning I met a friend at Toastique. I had read about the restaurant and we were both looking forward to trying it out. When we entered the restaurant, we were immediately faced with a line of people ordering. I spotted a couple of empty tables and asked the person ahead of us if they were waiting to be seated or ordering. We picked out a table (dirty) and sat down waiting for a server. After a few minutes I got up and asked an employee if we were to be waited on or order at the counter. We were told to order at the counter, which we did and sat back down to wait to be called. My drink order was called first and my friend was called about 5 minutes later for her drink. A few minutes later I was called for my toast order. About 5 minutes later my friend went up to the counter to ask about her order which was sitting at the counter. Drinks were meh. Food looked delicious. My smoked salmon was really good but a little hard to manage. My friend was disappointed with her Greek toast and agreed it was a little hard to cut through and even harder to pick up. Both of us were a little put off by the less than fresh arugula. No one ever cleaned a single table while we were there. I watched other diners brush off their tables but never observed staff clean a single table. No one ever greeted us or inquired about how our orders were. I noticed the manager linger and talk to two diners at a nearby table that she obviously knew, but she never even looked in our direction. Overall experience was very underwhelming. Probably won’t go back. Tip for management: greet and check in with diners, properly bus tables, and give those wilted greens an ice bath to revive them. Wish...

My Experience at Toastique Henderson NV 4/5 Stars !

I saw Toastique’s menu online and decided to check it out with my daughter this month. The place has a really nice, open and light feel to it - very clean and modern looking. The staff was super friendly, which always makes a difference.

We ordered the smoked salmon toast and the Greek toast, and honestly, both were delicious! You can tell they use quality ingredients and everything tasted fresh. The portions were good too - we left feeling satisfied.

My biggest complaint is the drink selection. They have juices, smoothies, and coffee drinks, but I really wish they had some regular options like sodas or even just club soda. Living in Nevada, when it’s blazing hot outside, you want something light and refreshing that’s not coffee! Plus, drinks are $10 each, which felt a bit pricey.

The other thing that bugged me was the presentation. Don’t get me wrong - the wooden boards look really nice and Instagram-worthy, but they’re not practical at all. The toast is long and every time you try to cut a piece or take a bite, food ends up sliding off the board onto the table. It was kind of annoying, especially with my daughter.

Overall though, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for healthy options that actually taste good. The atmosphere is pleasant and the food quality is solid. I’d probably go back, but I hope they consider adding some lighter drink options and maybe rethink the serving boards.
